Very clean and well furnished with quality beds and couches. Kitchen was also very well stocked and equipped with like new appliances. Great location is near a large well maintained park. We look forward to staying again and recommend this property highly.

Nice but small

Stayed here for 2 days and it served our needs, but being a large person, the house itself is pretty small. I’m 6’2” and I had to duck my head for every nearly doorway. Check in was super easy and Zach was very helpful. Would recommend his property to others.

Trash and recycle pickup just on the other side of the wall

Clean, but downstairs bed layout was awkward, and some windows had no curtains for privacy from alley. Appreciated the fans and the cute bedding. Parking was great, nice coffee place 1 block west. Easy check-in.

Great Location

I think our favorite thing was the location and proximity to many restaurants and attractions. We visited the Manitou Incline, Pikes Peak, and the Olympic Museum, among other things.

Loved it here!!

I loved this house! Very clean and cozy. All amenities you need were there. They have books and games for the family which i thought was awesome, a nice family night to play a board game! Quiet area in Colorado Springs, with lots to do. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Quick & Convenient Overnight

This is a cute and conveniently located little home in Colorado Springs. We only spent one quick overnight on our way further into the mountains. It took us a minute to find the house as we arrived late and it is off the alley behind another home on the main street. But not so hard, especially if you read the directions ahead of time (whoops!). The location is very walkable which we quite like. We really enjoyed walking our pup around the neighborhood and looking at the other homes. The coffee shop was great for breakfast and coffee the next morning and the park was a nice green space to toss the ball around before getting back in the car. I really enjoyed using the upstairs room to do a little yoga/stretching without waking my partner and the dog. For anyone with a dog that they crate, it could be tricky to get a crate upstairs: the stairway is fairly narrow and there's a tight doorway to get to them. Since we were only there for the one night, we just slept downstairs in the entry area bedroom so our young pup could be nearby. The beds were super comfortable. Overall, the home is fairly spacious and has nice vintage charm. It would be a great base for exploring Colorado Springs and environs. We would happily book again.

We had a great time while in colorado springs and was very thankful to be able to stay in this charming home. We found it effortlessly with the directions that were given to us by the owners. It was clean and cozy with everything we needed for our stay. This included an air mattress and a pack n play and the location is central to a lot of activities and shops. The owners communicated with us timely and were always kind and courteous. I will definitely be back to visit.

Cute place in good location

We enjoyed our stay here and Zach was a great host! My 3 kids and I stayed with our two goldens. The size was good for all of us. Kitchen was well stocked with necessities for cooking and cleaning. We were not able to find a strainer for noodles (a kid food staple) and a swiffer or dust mop would have helped with dog hair on hard floors. I’d also bring some extra throw blankets for couch snuggles during movie nights. Overall it was a great experience and perfect for our mini vacation! Thank you!

My favorite city to travel to is Amsterdam, Netherlands; My favorite in town brewery is Trinity Brewing Company; and my favorite place in the springs to visit is Red Rock Canyon.

Why they chose this property

I host this property because it is a wonderful place for a small family or a few friends to stay while they see all that Colorado Springs had to offer. It's cute, decorated well, and the furniture is robust enough for young children to beat up on. I also host this property because of it's location. It's close to the city center, close to hiking, and around the corner from some of my favorite restaurants.

What makes this property unique

Thanks to every owner since its inception, this home has been updated little-by-little since 1908. It has a 100+ year old story in its bones and every owner has made it a priority to still keep its fantastic old charm. The mixture of new quartz countertops & stainless steel appliances, combine well with the old style doorknobs, creaky floors, and windows. Thanks to great old architecture and craftsmanship, this home still functions as a great place for family and friends to rest their heads between their travels.
