We loved our short stay in Essex. The neighborhood was so peaceful and quiet (we were there before the busy season). The house was adorable and comfortable— we felt at home! Super clean, close proximity to activities, easy access instructions. We would definitely stay again!

Charming, quiet retreat

Our party of four enjoyed our stay in this charming, well appointed home. There was plenty of room for morning coffee on the front porch or visiting in the living room. The house was very clean and the beds comfortable. We had one minor issue and our host answered promptly and remedied the situation. Fred was also very helpful with all of our queries. Highly recommend a visit to Essex and a stay in this charming cottage.

Absolutely perfect!

The cottage was so charming with front porch rocking chairs as well as a beautiful back deck! The setting and location could not be better. Cottage was spotless and comfortable. The property managers were available for any needs. Essex is a special CT River town. A must see!

Spotlessly clean. Great location.

The home was perfect for our family of 5. It’s on a very quiet street within walking distance of the quaint shops and restaurants in Essex. Beaches and Mystic Seaport were also only a short drive away. I’d definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends.

Great place in a great area

The house is a great setup. We were traveling with a range of ages and interests. It’s thoughtfully appointed and equipped. Fred and Lee were lovely. We were the first ones to stay and found it to be wonderful. Great walking neighborhood, friendly neighbors. Looking forward to future stays!
