From the moment the front door opens, the eye is drawn to the marble surround fireplace, transom windows, gleaming hardwood floors and stunning kitchen with soft-close cabinetry, farmhouse sink, high end appliances and quartz topped counters. The kitchen is immaculately appointed with new, top-of-the line appliances and everything you need to cook a gourmet meal. A laundry with a high capacity washer and dryer are available.
On the second floor, you'll find 3 bedrooms (Queen,Queen, Full+Twin trundle) with hardwood floors and ceiling fans. Ascend to the third floor for the Master Suite with abundant closet space, vaulted ceiling, balcony with views of LI Sound and a spa master bath with double sinks, walk-in shower, and an over sized soaking tub.
In addition to all this, there is high speed internet WiFi access and a large finished recreation room in the basement with a full bath. Watch all your favorite shows on Chromecast TV on a large HDTV.
After a day outside, you can clean-up in your private outdoor shower when you return from to the highly desirable private Cornfield Point Beaches, just a stroll away. Then sit on the mahogany deck in afternoon shade and fire-up dinner on the Weber gas grill.

Grateful for the opportunity to revisit Old Saybrook. Rented there for about ten years every summer. This however was the first time back in about 15 years. The house is in a perfect location, and it is beautiful. The neighborhood was quiet, but area residents were very friendly when meeting them out on walks. In all, the property was the perfect spot for our reunion with Old Saybrook. It was well equipped for our stay, and very comfortable.

All that we could have wished for!

A clean and lovely house, perfect for our family--four adults and a two-year old. A very short and beautiful walk to a great swimming beach (good for the little one as well). Lovely deck and back yard to sit outside. Lovely neighborhood. Just serene.

Lovely beach community home

Lovely, spacious, clean home that surpassed their own reviews. Plenty of space for gathering in open floor plan of kitchen, dining and living room. Deck and backyard spacious for more fun. Downstairs tv room offers another room for play/ tv time. Bedrooms on 2nd floor good size and beach cozy. Third floor bedroom we called the penthouse with balcony overlooking the sound. Walk to town beaches! Will book again!

Beautiful and well-appointed home

This home is everything the listing says it is. It was spacious and completely updated. Everything in the home was high-end and well maintained and so many thoughtful touches. The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the house was large and beautifully decorated and there was plenty of parking. We wanted for nothing all week which I find to be a rarity when renting a vacation home. The week we were in Old Saybrook was rainy and a little chilly for August but the house had lots of games to occupy us and cozy blankets to keep us warm. Down by the rock beach is a little grassy area and benches that are perfect for drinking morning coffee by the water and meeting all the neighbors dogs. We will definitely be back!!

Lovely Home

My family had a great experience at this cozy home. It was stocked with everything you could think of towels, linens, laundry detergent, hand soap, dish soap, sponges, ziploc bags, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, cooking spices and seasonings, coffee, sugar, paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, etc. It looks just like the photos! The beach association and neighbors are all so friendly! Beautiful location and views of the ocean. Only bummer was getting hit with Tropical storm Isaias during our stay and losing power for 2 days. (Not the owner’s fault, whatsoever). Unfortunately a back up generator was the only thing this cottage didn’t have. Despite the power outrage we still had a great vacation and I would highly recommend the house to anyone considering staying!

Immaculate, outstanding beach property!

Our family and friends agree, best gathering ever for Thanksgiving 2022! This immaculate and beautifully appointed home is one of a kind. Spacious, four bedroom, 3 1/2 baths on 4 floors is perfect for family vacation, holiday celebration, etc. Well appointed with gas fireplace, chef kitchen/appliances and more. Owner available and very responsive by personal cell anytime to answer questions. Was perfect for our family and friends Thanksgiving. Stunning long island sound view from 4th floor master bedroom balcony! See for yourself!

Lovely vacation home by the shore

Excellent experience. The home is solid, beautifully decorated, extremely well supplied with lovely toiletries and a fantastic kitchen with all the equipment we needed to prepare meals. Property manager was prompt in his responsiveness in setting up the heating system. This vacation home is in a wonderful location close to the beach and the town. Looking forward to returning.

Great home and location

Property owners are attentive. Home is as advertised. Would return if time/circumstances allow. Wonderful trip. Old Saybrook is wonderful but I could be biased having grown up here and down the street from this cottage.

Absolutely Amazing Beach House

My family and I loved our week stay in this picture perfect beach house. I have rented many different homes over the past several years in this beach community, and this property has been by far the best and has set the bar very high when it comes to rentals. The location is ideal with gorgeous water views of “Rock Beach” (which is steps away from the house) from the master bedroom and it is just a quick walk/bike to Cornfield Point beach. The house is meticulous, decorated perfectly, and is so spacious. The owner Jeff was so lovely and easy to deal with and made sure that we were happy right from the start of our stay. We can not wait to return!

We are a married couple who have stayed in beautiful Old Saybrook for many years on vacation. We decided to buy this beautiful home that was completely re-done! Pam is a nurse and Jeff is a professional speaker. We have two children.

Why they chose this property

It's a love at first sight story. We did not anticipate buying a home in Old Saybrook and decided to look at this house that was newly remodeled. It blew us away in terms of location, view, amenities. Everything was brand new, lots of windows and light, and in our favorite place in the world.

What makes this property unique

We love listening to the ocean at night-best sleep in the world. In the morning, we take our coffee to the bench at the end of the street to look at the water. My husband relaxes with bike rides around Old Saybrook. The day is spent at the private Cornfield Point beach. The other end of the street has an ice cream shop. Old Saybrook is a quaint town with things going on all the time-movies on the beach, concerts, Wed. and Sat. seasonal Farmers Market, Monday $1.50 Sliders at the Rabbit Hole. Some nights we just relax on the deck with a glass of wine. It is mandatory to take a glass of wine to the beach to watch the sun set. The unique benefit is the location with all the new amenities.
