About this property

Sea View for Two! Sundial Resort, Steps to the Beach, Private Lanai

Take in the view as you relax on the private and spacious lanai, accessible through wide sliding glass doors from the living room and bedroom. You will enjoy the newly renovated open plan living area including a 65 inch Sony Smart TV with high quality sound , a well equipped kitchen, and FULL size in-unit washer and dryer.
The large primary bedroom has a walk in closet and the adjacent bathroom is well appointed with a range of toiletries. Wall to wall wooden pocket doors create a separate private space for sleeping.
Other resort amenities include access to the pool featured in the listing photos, complimentary parking, and free wifi. There are also five restaurants, a market, and a tiki bar on site. Please note, our unit is a private rental, and therefore, does not include the "resort" pool and amenities, the fitness center, or the Tennis/Pickleball courts. However, our pool is steps away and much quieter!
To help make your beach days carefree we provide 2 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, 2 beach towels, a large cooler on wheels, and a collapsible folding beach wagon (located in the walk in guest closet). No need to worry about managing stairs, our building has an elevator!
Sanibel is known for its many bike paths which are easily accessible from the resort. We recommend renting bikes from Finnimore's Bike and Beach Rentals 239.472.5577. They deliver!

We lived our stay at the Sundial condo. Tammy was great and very responsive. The condo was clean and well equipped. It was close to the beach with a great view. There is a sandbar a short walk up the beach that provides great shelling at low tide. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommend!

This was an amazing property - just big enough for two! We enjoyed the view in the mornings and evenings and the beach during the day. The condo was very well stocked with things to make your stay comfortable. We will definitely be back for another vacation!

My husband and I stayed for two weeks at this beautiful condo at Sundial Beach Resort & Spa on Sanibel Island, and it far exceeded our expectations. We’ve been visiting Florida for seven years and have stayed in many places, including Fort Myers and Siesta Key, but this was easily our favorite property.The condo was spotless, beautifully decorated, and the perfect size for the two of us. It truly felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with great cookware, dishes, flatware, and even a nice selection of spices. Every detail was clearly thought out.The location is fantastic—central on the island and perfect for biking everywhere on Sanibel’s wonderful bike paths. The beach is just minutes away, and we loved relaxing on the veranda with coffee after morning shelling walks.We had a wonderful stay and are already planning our return next year!

Nice place, excellent host’s.

This condo is small, but comfortable for 2 people. We had rented for 4 weeks, but hurricane Ian forced us to leave after only 8 days. The owner promptly refunded us for the days we were not able to use. VRBO refused to refund the sales tax and “service fee.” I have disputed the prorated amount thatVRBO refused to refund with VISA. I sincerely hope that the owners are able to recover an thrive. They are really nice people.

Why they chose this property

I was introduced to Sanibel by friends who have homes at Sundial Beach Resort. Their love of this island prompted me to check it out.
Sanibel is a unique barrier island blessed with sandy beaches and an abundance of shells. Equally unique to Sanibel, 25 miles of bike paths that span the island, a National Wildlife Refuge, as well as many fine restaurants and shops. I would describe the atmosphere as laid back and family friendly.
I found it impossible to resist the charm of Sanibel, so I came for a visit and decided to stay!
