Beachfront House in Family Friendly Jamaica Beach

Jamaica Beach is the perfect location for your family vacation. We are a city within Galveston city limits, which means we have our own police force and fire department, making Jamaica Beach one of the safest beaches on the island. Unlike all other beaches in Galveston, loud music is not tolerated and that makes for a very peaceful and relaxing vacation.

Our house is located beachfront, we are the 3rd house from the state park. The beach is just a few steps away and if you prefer a less travelled beach, the state park is a great place to set up your beach chairs.

The house features high vaulted ceilings making the open floor plan ideal for family and friends. The house has recently been renovated with all new walls and 2 completely renovated bathrooms. The bathrooms have brand new tile floors, new "Toto" toilets, new showers and bath tub.

The large front deck has been rebuilt with Trex composite deck boards so there is no chance of getting annoying splinter on your feet or hands. Downstairs you will find a large private shower that makes cleaning off after a day at the beach easy.

Perfect weekend get away for family

Amazing location just steps away from perfect beach. Great house, super clean and comfortable for big families, large leaving room for big family breakfast and lunches and board games. very comfortable furniture and beds, plenty of super soft towels and anythig you need in the kitchen for quick snacks for kids. Loved out stay and would highly recommend.

This Jamaica Beach house has an amazing unobstructed view of the Gulf from the deck and living room/kitchen. It was well stocked and the owner was very easy to communicate with. It's also dog friendly so that's a bonus.

Terrific Getaway

The house was very clean and spacious with lots of kitchen necessities. The deck offered a lovely view of the beachfront and the late afternoons provided plenty of shade. The nearby state park was great for avoiding the crowded public beach area.

Quiet neighborhood on the beach

The house is in a quiet neighborhood right on the beach - the view and sea breeze was unbeatable. Home has plenty of pots, pans, dishes, etc. A/C works great and beds are comfortable. Wi-Fi and tv works great.

The location was great. Plenty of fun activities for all ages. Crabbing on the beach at night is a fun activity for all. Was not expecting all the extra's this house had to offer (plenty of hand soap, shampoo, dishwashing liquid, trash bags, dishes, pots, pans, etc). We were very pleased with our stay.

Nice And Quiet

House was clean a well kept. Short walk to the beach. Beware of the dishwashers booby trap glassware shelf. Amenities were nice, enjoyed our time and view on the balcony. Excellent location for our group to see the Strand sights and activities.

Excellent Beach Front Experience

This property is great for couples and families and is pet friendly! Walking to beach everyday is very easy. The house is clean and has fully stocked kitchen. The living space is open and comfortable. The bed rooms are cozy and the bathrooms clean. The host and owner is responsive and hospitable This is our third stay and we plan to return again!

Gorgeous Beachfront view.

There was not a direct walk to the beach but it still was walking distance. The home is much larger than it appears in pics. The open living area made it easy for us all to hang out.

July Getaway

The property is a good location to the beach. Bedrooms and bathrooms were small. The views of the beach were good from the deck, but very limited inside. General decor is very basic. Outdoor furniture was not very impressive. It seemed to have a lot of the owners stuff in closets and in open areas. There was a pinball machine that was a big hit!! The outdoor shower worked great with hot and cold water. All appliances worked fine. We had a really good time staying here.

Ok experience

Beach access from the house was excellent. My family did not like the house swayingfrom side to side. The fact that this house had no washer dryer was a huge negative. There was a total of 8 of us for 6 nights and with no washer and dryer it was brutal. There was no tv's in the living room and with 3 kids wanting to watch kid shows in the evening with only 1 tv to share was also brutal. If you're lokking for a house with a beach vibe this is not the house for you. The only time you'll get the vibe is when you look out the window. The entire place is dated. Overall a decent experience but definitely nothing to write home about.
