The only hesitation I have is I don't want it to be booked next time we come to the Cape. This was our favorite house we've rented so far.Great house. Great location. We had three families (6 adults and 7 kids/teenagers), and we all fit very comfortably in this house. Short walk to the beach. Amazing views of the water. Good pool. Great kitchen. Great bedroom layout for multiple families. Book and enjoy!

We really loved the kitchen/living area on the third floor and the outdoor seating on the deck. The pool was large and used daily by the kids. The location of this home was in such a quiet and peaceful area. It was just a short walk to the beach with plenty of room to set up camp for the day. We bought fresh seafood from the local market and made some amazing meals. Thanks for making our vacation so memorable.

Not beach front but currently no houses in front of it, a short flat walk to the beach, and a long wide beach current only shaded with 2 other homes. The very few problems we had were quickly rectified by Coastal Joe. The description should be updated as the first floor bedroom isn’t a queen with a triple bunkbed but rather a full. Not a huge deal. The main level was the best one we’ve ever stayed in and this was our 12th visit here. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out but still be together!

We rented the house because my husband is disabled and needed an elevator. So his vacation was not pleasant at all. I called the office a couple of times to check status of repair hoping it would be repaired before we left. I was told with each call that I would get a call back but I git zero call backs. I felt that Coastal was not concerned about our situation.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was beautiful and clean with great gulf views and acess to the beach. We loved having a pool and elevator and the rooms and living/kitchen areas were spacious and comfortable.If I were to offer suggestions, they would be these:- The elevator was fiddly getting it to detect that the doors were closed, especially on the second floor. Some additional calibration would probably fix this.- It would be helpful to have some sort of table or elevated work surface in the car port area under the house to sort and store beach gear off the floor.- An additional water hose (one for front and back) would have been helpful.- The kitchen was well stocked but the non-stick pans had seen better days and was scratched and dinged up (which is a health hazard to cook on). I like to see stainless options in rentals to cook with due to it being able to take a beating from renters.None of these items diminish my opinion of the house overall and would deffinitely stay here again in the future. We didn't have any issues during our stay that required communication with management but they were very helpful and responsive during the booking and pre-arrival process.

The only downside was the elevator didn't work. We checked in after hours. I would recommend checking in while you could still get in touch with someone. Once we had all of our stuff it, it didn't matter. The layout of the house is perfect.

No sharpe knifes, no kitchen shears, only 2 kitchen towels, only 1 towel each. These things are very minimal. I just would have packed these items. Coastal Joe’s was great to work with. If we return to this area we would certainly use them again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home is beautiful and new. Plenty of space. I think it is beautifully decorated and equipped. Not over or under done. We stayed at a different property in CSB last year and while it was a more expensive and beachfront property, it was overdone and had a lot of faults. We would definitely come back to this location.The cleaning crew needs to be spoken to however. Found a bathroom toilet uncleaned, and also they left some debris under the sofa.It would be nice if there was sound bar for the TV in the living room, that could also allow Bluetooth streaming for music.Also, as others have stated, the elevator did not work at the time of our stay. I wonder why the owner hasn't fixed this. The kitchen is on the 3rd floor, so you have to carry all of your coolers/boxes up 3 flights of stairs.

Mini Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We brought 6 tween/teen boys to the Hi Cotton for a quick weekend trip before school started back. Plenty of room for everyone. The home is beautiful with quality furniture and bedding. Kitchen was well supplied with pots/pans/etc. Plenty of bath towels!! and lots of beach gear available in the home. The beach is easy to get to via a boardwalk, although I do wonder how you will get to the beach once homes are built on the lots. The elevator didn't work at all and I wish that had been disclosed prior to renting. The living space is on the 3rd floor. The neighborhood is being developed, but we couldn't hear the construction next door from inside and it wasn't distracting while outside. The pool was clean with lots of chairs. There is a fish market and small grocery store nearby. We would definitely come back (with a working elevator)!
