Family Vacation

We had a wonderful stay. Condo was clean and well stocked. Easy beach access and close to awesome restaurants. 3 mile walk down the beautiful beach to the boardwalk. We would definitely stay here again.

Spacious with beautiful views!

Easy check in, beautiful clean condo and great amenities. Lots of space for us 3. My teen daughters and I enjoyed this getaway so much! The pool was really fun for them, a bit loud and crowded for mom but still had fun. I have been here before solo and it wasn’t as crowded. This time was more crowded as it was Easter/Passover week. The only real negative was there are definitely not enough elevators so you need to plan accordingly during busy times and have some patience. Our host was very responsive and the place was exactly as stated. Great time!

Came down for a gymnastics meet in Ft Lauderdale. Views were incredible. Charges upon check-in were not expected. Resort fee, damages fee (typical), valet (only parking option) services card to get beach towels (50 per towel if not returned), and it said you were not allowed to bring your own chairs and/or umbrellas onto the beach. The floor in our condo was dirty upon arrival, our feet were disgusting. Fines if you did not have a cover-up, shorts/shirt over your swim wear. If you are looking for a low-key beach vacation, this is not the place.

Excellent location

The apartment is clean, good decor, excellent view, has an equipped kitchen, well located with access to the beach and walking distance from stores such as Walmart, Win Dixie (grocery store), Ross, Burlington, restaurants etc. The check-in experience was swift, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. The host provided a clear and accurate description of the property and was very responsive throughout our stay.

Good stay

Property is in a good location and floor to ceiling doors provide a remarkable view. Basic starters provided. Provided two washcloths and no kitchen towel pack. It was nice having beach and towel service, valet was easy. Property needs a good cleaning and dishes were dirty/water stained. Faucets loose, Beds were fine/okay, bedding needs upgraded. 2 flat sheets and waffle blanket (no fitted/duvet). Elevator wait is excessive at times. No welcome/departure from host and she acknowledged that washcloths were lacking and would send someone - no one came nor was there any follow up.

Excellent Property - Few Suggestions

The residence was great. Keep in mind that this is also a resort, so there are/will be fees for just about anything not shown in the listing. The only complaint we had is with the towels in the residence. Very rough and cheap. One of the hand towels literally had holes, etc. We didn't complain because it was a minor issue but something that should be addressed for a luxury penthouse listing.

Nice accommodations, but would not recommend

The property was dirty on arrival. The toilet clogged every time you used it and this was a precious problem listed in previous reviews. Had to use a gross toilet plunger every time we used the bathroom. The doorknobs kept falling off… again an issue from previous reviews. It is too expensive there to have these types of issues. I asked for a vacuum from the owner for cleaning and she never responded. The resort is beautiful but the rules are ridiculous. A security guard comes over to you if you move your chair a few inches into the shade. You can’t split your party and some be at the beach and some be at the pool bc you have to have a towel card with you… and the workers at the beach are flat rude. It was super disappointing. Have stayed at a much nicer place in hallendale. Don’t stay here.

Nice Place, funny quirks

My family and I spent several nights at this property. Upon walking inside, it's gorgeous, updated, modern. It has gorgeous views and plenty of space for our family of 4. The property claims it has 3 pools, but one is a reflecting pool so just two pools really, which are located practically nex, and no different from each other. The hotel is almost 'on' the beach, great location. There is a restaurant and poolside bar on property also, and a coffee shop which sold $6/brewed coffees. The apartment, as mentioned, is lovely. Promptly upon arrival two of the door handles fell off in our hands. We fixed them ourselves. Also noted, as this does seem to be quite posh and luxurious, the towels were awful. Like Holiday Inn towels. Very disappointing. And the master toilet didn't flush on the first attempt, no matter which flush option you chose. There was a plunger next to the toilet so it seems this is a problem but it wasn't clogged, it was just a wimpy flush. The towel services at the pool and hotel seem lovely but had some very strict and strange policies: Upon check in you are given a card. When you take towels you hand them the card which they file away. Then when you return the towels the card is returned to you. But the pool towel service closed before the pool closed. So if you continued to swim after 5pm, you had no towel to use (unless you brought your own). Also if you forgot or were late to return the towels you were charged $40. On the beach the towels were much much nicer and also offered lovely chair covers. The chairs are a short walk down the beach and you have to return the beach towels on the beach, otherwise are fined which felt kind of strange to not be able to take the towel back to your room. Too bad there wasn't a towel return in the property. The location of this property is lovely if your plan is to go to the beach and back. It's not really walking distance to any touristy destinations nor is it nearby to the boardwalk. There is a 711 right across the street and a walmart .5 miles away.
