Todd's A-frame truly has a million-dollar view, and that was the highlight of our stay. The cabin itself is cozy, unique, and stocked with plenty of games and activities. The hot tub was fantastic, and the sauna was a really cool feature that made the property feel special.Unfortunately, there were several issues that significantly impacted our experience. We found mouse droppings on the kitchen counters, cereal left in one of the beds, pink insulation blown all over the property, and trash scattered around outside. These cleanliness issues were disappointing. The biggest problem was the heat. During our stay, temperatures were unusually high, and the cabin reached around 89F inside with very little airflow. We spent two days extremely uncomfortable because there were no fans, and we had been instructed not to bring one. While we understand heat waves aren't the owner's fault, some accommodation for guest comfort would have made a huge difference. We weren't planning to mention these issues in a public review because we expected them to be handled privately. However, after only being offered a 375 refund (about one night's stay), we felt the resolution didn't adequately reflect the combination of cleanliness problems and the loss of comfort for two days.If you're staying here, I'd recommend checking the sheets and kitchen counters when you arrive, and if you're visiting during the summer, bring a fan if possible despite the house guidance.
