About this property
Hideaway on Oak | Private Deck + Firepit | Walk to Downtown Paso
Hideaway on Oak puts Paso Robles within easy walking distance, with downtown just four blocks away and Paso Market Walk only one block from the door. This 2BR/1.5BA stay is ideal for two couples or a family of four, with a private deck, fully fenced shared outdoor space, and an easy setup for days built around food, wine, and time around town.
Inside, the living room gives everyone a comfortable place to settle in, with leather seating, a recliner, ceiling fan, and wall-mounted TV for slower evenings back at the house. The full kitchen sits just off the living space with a gas range, full-size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, generous cabinetry, and counter space for putting together breakfast or an easy dinner, plus a small breakfast bar for casual meals. Both bedrooms have queen beds and hardwood floors, with a half bath ensuite to the rear bedroom.
Outside, the shared backyard is made for lingering. Fire up the propane BBQ and gather around the long outdoor table, settle into the Adirondack chairs by the gas firepit as the string lights come on, or head to the fenced grassy area for a game of cornhole. Garden beds, grapevines, and lavender soften the space, while the private deck gives you a quieter spot for morning coffee or a glass of wine.
From this Oak Street address, you can leave the car behind for much of the day. Start at Paso Market Walk for coffee, breakfast, local food, and specialty vendors, then continue toward Downtown City Park for tasting rooms, restaurants, boutiques, and an afternoon spent wandering between stops. When you want to explore farther, the surrounding wine country opens up with vineyard tastings, scenic backroads, and long lunches, while Tin City adds wineries, breweries, cider, and artisan food to the itinerary.
AvantStay provides an upscale experience with services that elevate your stay and save time so you can enjoy every moment. Guests have access to a 24/7 support team and a tech-enabled concierge to book services, such as fridge stocking, mid-stay cleanings, and private chefs. For anything you need (or never knew you needed), we’re at your service!
Wine down and relax in California's central coast town. Paso Robles invites you to drive through wine country's scenic backroads, stop at one of 300 award-winning tasting rooms, and stroll through charming downtown, where local artisan shops line the streets. A place to relax and unwind, Paso Robles also offers hot springs that overlook surrounding vineyards. Whether it's for a romantic weekend or group getaway, take the plunge and come for a visit!
Local Attractions: Firestone Walker Brewery & Taproom Restaurant, Sensorio: Field of Light, Hunter Ranch Golf Course, Tin City, Central Coast Trail Rides (horseback riding), Lake Nacimiento, Margarita Adventures Zip Lining and Escape Room, Avila Beach Paddle Sports, Hearst Castle, hiking and mountain bike trails, over 300 wineries, breweries and distilleries, and Downtown Paso Robles for shopping and dining.

Perfect Property for an Adults get-away to wine country! Great location near downtown with ample dining options and close enough to all the wineries we wanted to see. Pleasantly surprised with the Kitchen having everything we needed to cook meals at home along with the bonus of having Coffee to start our days!
