Families, couples or singles, pack your suitcase! Nicely furnished and equipped, this sunny two-bedroom, second-floor vacation rental has everything you will need to enjoy a relaxing escape to the seaside. It boasts a private deck off the master bedroom with a queen bed, a bedroom with 2 twin beds, a fully stocked eat-in kitchen, free WI-FI. The full bath is accessed from the hallway between the two bedrooms. There is a full tub with grab bar, hand-held shower head, and plenty of storage. In addition to a full living room with a flat-screened Smart TV, there is a three-season porch with a twin-sized futon for extra sleeping. All linens are provided, including 6 beach towels. Equipped with many thoughtful conveniences, your unit also has a private entrance and off- street parking for two vehicles.

Located in the Easton's Point section of Middletown adjacent to St. George's School, First (Easton's) and Second (Sachuest) beaches are both a little less than a mile for those who wish to walk. Sachuest Beach at Surfers End features some of the best surfing in Rhode Island. Come back from the beach after a glorious day in the sun and enjoy refreshments on the deck off the master bedroom, or relax in the yard and grill a steak!

A perfect location for exploring historic Newport year 'round! Besides close proximity to beaches, explore the outdoors and walk the many trails throughout Aquidneck Island - Norman Bird Sanctuary (at least 3 including Hanging Rock Trail), Sachuest Point, Aquidneck Land Trust with its 12 miles of public nature trails, to name a few! Walk the famous Newport Cliff Walk, about a mile away. We're a short ride to Bellevue Ave., Newport Harbor and Thames Street. Play golf at one of the courses on Aquidneck Island!

Pets are welcome, BUT MUST BE APPROVED BEFORE ARRIVAL. Must be up to date with shots.

Adorable & Close proximity to everything

We stayed for a long weekend and we’re impressed by how clean and spacious the property was. It was in close proximity to Newport, but also much quieter.

Newport Wedding

I came for a weekend with a friend to go to a wedding. We looked at hotels but they were expensive and small. This apartment was really cute, comfortable and roomy! We were each able to have our own room! The apartment was incredibly clean and pleasant. The weather was pretty warm, but with the windows open we didn't need a/c. There's a lovely deck off of one of the bedrooms. There are 2 beaches that are less than a mile away. We walked to Second Beach which was really nice! We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back again!

Perfect weekend away!

We had the best weekend at Barbara and Ed’s! It was our first time traveling as a family of 4, and we had everything we needed. Great location to beaches and restaurants, very comfortable bed, very clean and relaxing. Ed and Barbara were great hosts. We will definitely be back next year!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at Barb and Ed’s place. The rental was clean and spacious. The location was fantastic. It was a very quick and easy drive into Newport. Ed and I have been married 60 years. We have two children, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one dog, a Labradoodle named George.

Why they chose this property

We have been vacationing in Newport for many years and decided it was time to purchase our own 'Seaside Escape'! We retired here and thoroughly enjoy all that Acquidneck Island has to offer - relaxing, exploring, dining out - we could go on and on! Most importantly, we enjoy meeting so many great people, some of whom have become good friends.

What makes this property unique

This sunny vacation rental is close enough to walk, bike or ride to all of the wonderful activities in and around Newport, including both First and Second Beaches. Our location offers an escape from the crowds and tourists at the end of the day. It has a beautiful yard our renters can enjoy for grilling and relaxing and a deck/balcony off the master bedroom.
