One minute walk to the beach! Family friendly. Beautiful sunrise/sunset views!
Welcome to our picturesque Broadkill Beach home. Watch the sunrise over the bay and sunset over the Prime Hook Nature Preserve where migratory birds stop during their travels up and down the Atlantic Flyway. You can see and hear the waves from our front deck, which is perfect for summer barbeques and cold drinks on the porch. Enjoy morning walks to the Broadkill store for fresh donuts, fly kites and build sand castles on the beach.
Walk across the street to a secluded, private-feeling sand beach where you can walk for miles in either direction. Enjoy swimming and beach fun in the summer months. In the off season, play board games by our fireplace and take bundled up beach walks and roast marshmallows over your beach bonfire. This secluded beach is paradise year-round. We are less than half a mile from the Broadkill Store, where you can get delicious fresh donuts and coffees, breakfast sandwiches, pizza, and more during the summer. We are a short drive from the Dogfish Head Brewery, the Big Oyster Brewery, Hopkins Farm creamery, the Rookery Golf Course, and so much more.
Our space is perfect for couples and small families looking to relax, refresh, and reunite. Due to our septic tank, we cannot accommodate more than 6 guests at a time – no exceptions (you don’t want overflowing toilets as much as we don’t). We offer one queen bed, one king bed, a twin daybed, and a full size futon in the loft. We have a driveway that fits 3 cars. We provide pillows and blankets, but you must bring your own sheets, towels, and beach towels.

The house was clean and comfortable. It was also well located near the store and close to the bay beach. Broadkill is quiet, quaint, and quality vacation spot.
We had a lovely stay. The house was very clean, serene, and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the host communicated right away with a few questions we had. The walk to the beach was easy, and we appreciated the provided beach wagon and chairs. Our kids loved discovering all the toys in the house. We would stay here again.
My family visited for a long weekend and had a great visit. The house was clean and comfortable with quick access to the beach. Communication was excellent and check in was a breeze.
This property was extremely clean and check-in was a breeze. Literally across the street from the beach access trail so it really is a 1 minute walk to the beach as advertised. Near Milton and Lewes which two wonderful towns to visit or just relax and enjoy the peacefulness of Broadkill Beach. Would definitely stay again.
The house was in a great location, proximity to the beach entrance was a big a plus. We were very impressed with all the amenities in the house and its cleanliness. We felt very at home! We'd be happy to stay there again. :)
Well kept, comfortable home with the supplies you need for your stay.Nicely decorated. Short walk to the beach. Quite but friendly neighborhood. We Didn't want to leave....
Very thoughtful layout and decor. Great location - 2 minutes away from beach on foot. Comfortable bed with wonderful view of the marshes. Spacious dining area with well-equipped kitchen. Helpful communication with our host. We appreciated the beach chairs and umbrellas!

The property was lovely. We didn’t get to use the beach much because there were tons of jelly fish in the water but that was due to a coming storm. Nothing that the owners or anyone else could have done about that. We still had a nice time and enjoyed family time.
Everything about this property was perfect. The location was a one-minute walk to the beach, making it super convenient to go over for the day and walk back to get snacks/lunch. We had a four-year-old with us, so easy access was important. The house also came with a beach wagon, chairs, umbrellas, which was awesome. Everything we needed for days at the beach. Friendly and helpful communication with the owner/manager throughout the process. Highly recommend, and our group would be happy to stay here again.
The house is in a great location almost directly across the street from the beach access path. It was a very nice house and perfect for our needs. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed for meals. The owner was very responsive answering our questions. There were beach chairs available for our use. The beach is very quiet and not crowded. This area is much more like the Outer Banks than the typical DE and MD beaches and we did not have any issues with flies or jellyfish that we had seen in reviews of Broadkill Beach. There are horseshoe crab shells all over but it was not hot the week we were there and a steady breeze off the water so they were easy to ignore. The one store has some basic grocery items and beach gear but be sure to stock up at home or at the large Food Lion on the way in Milton. Other than that store it’s 15-30 min to restaurants or other retail. This area is well suited to a quiet beach vacation to spend time hanging with your family without being in a packed, busy area.
