Charming and quaint 800sqft cottage on a beautiful farm in the hills! Come relax in a corner of nature just 15min East of Oxford, Ohio. Wake up to a small stream, and the distant gentle sound of nature and farm animals awakening. Plus amazing views on the horizon. Soak up the enjoyment of natures small little expressions. This cottage accommodates 1-5 guests with one queen bed, a full size sleeper sofa and a very comfy twin mattress. Comes with an equipped kitchen and high speed internet. There is a second listing of the ground level floor ("garden flat") for this cottage (separate entrance too) if you need additional sleeping space. NO loud parties. Quiet hours between 10pm and 8am.

Solo trip to visit my son at Miami University. Pleasant, cozy, had everything I needed - Easy to regulate the heat, open some windows to let a breeze in, etc. Downstairs visitors came and went and while I heard some of their movements or talking, none was bothersome at all. Quiet in the evenings and mornings. Beautiful setting on a hillside farm with goats in a pen that you can visit. The main house is also on the property and while friendly, the people coming and going kept to themselves. So the property felt remote, yet people still around, which was all good. My son came over a couple times for dinner, and I went back and forth to visit him at his dorm numerous times - It was very easy and quick to get to campus. Great hiking at Houston Woods State Park and Rush Run Lake.

This is our third stay at this beautiful property. The rooms are super clean, bed is very comfortable and each room has noticeable decorative touches; like the pretty floral dish towels. Everything you need is provided. I was looking forward to returning to this house for the weekend almost as much as seeing our daughter at Miami U.

I am a woman of many adventures and abilities. But at the heart of me is a deep country loving girl. I am happy to host and share this gorgeous property with others. One of my favorite things is to wake up to this beautiful valley.

What makes this property unique

This property is a nice experience in the country but not to far to get places either. We are just 15min away from Oxford, Hamilton and Eaton Ohio. Cincinnati and Dayton are about a 50min. We do have a small "home town" convenient store/ MEGANS that is 3min down the road. It is also a delicious Pizza and Subs take out.
We have had hundreds of happy guests that have enjoyed our farm. Most people adore our female goats that are just outside the cottage too. We do accept doggy guests too!
