The house is located six miles west of downtown Durango at a cool elevation of 7500 feet.

The 3000+ square foot house is very privately situated on 5 1/2 acres. Abundant sunshine, tall ponderosa pines and beautiful views of the La Plata mountains make this home a wonderful vacation retreat. The house has large windows and a 800 square foot covered deck to help you enjoy all the beautiful surroundings. The open floor plan, vaulted ceiling and post and beam design give this house a true Colorado mountain feel.

I hate leaving

Perfect Durango Getaway

My husband and I have nothing but wonderful praise for the gorgeous property we had the privilege to visit. The cleanliness, comfort and amenities were everything we could have hoped for and more. Wonderful Property

Great house. Very peaceful, yet close to Durango and all it has to offer. Beautiful sunset and mountain views from the big deck. Beautifully designed home with big rooms. Owner was wonderful and the home was incredibly well stock with everything you could need.

Fabulous!

This beautiful home and property exceeded our expectations, and made for a fabulous family getaway. We spent 3 1/2 weeks there and never tired of the wonderful view from the deck. The home is modern, clean, comfortable, and spacious, affording everyone space for privacy and get togethers. Location is very convenient for getting to town and the beautiful Lake Nighthorse. We were so impressed that we have already planned a return visit.

Durango Delight!

We stayed for a week and it was wonderful! The house was clean, with well equiped kitchen, and all the little extras you need for a truly comfortable stay. Communication was execellent and we plan to come back again! Thanks again Morris for a wonderful experience! The only negative part was having to leave!

We love the property. So quiet and beautiful. We enjoy being close enough to Durango to visit easily but felt far away. Evening sunsets on the deck were perfect. We cooked almost all our meals there and he had everything one could think of. A perfect place to get away and relax, but easy for us to hike and bike.

Immaculate home, georgous view

This was our 2nd stay at this property, and it was just as perfect as the first time. The home was immaculate. The furnishings cozy and comfortable, and the view was lovely. The location is private, but close to Durango for grocery runs or a meal in town. Morris was lovely to deal with ad always.
