This home is lovely and has great space inside for folks to hang out together or have some alone time and space. We enjoyed grilling on the BBQ every evening and the patio had space for all to gather comfortably. There is a creek just across the road where one can fish, do yoga, paddle board and enjoy the quiet. There is easy access to Dexter lake. This is a wonderful place to escape the city and enjoy all the wildlife and birds. In fact, we had a mama quail and baby chicks enjoying the back yard in the early evenings! We had a great time and highly recommend this property.
We rented this home for five weeks while some of our installers from Hunter Communications were working in the area. They loved this home and loved to come "home" to such a beautiful setting. We also had some scheduling issues and needed to extend our stay which Cory was very willing to do for us! We had a great experience!
Found this place when moving a family member to the University of Oregon. It was a great, peaceful place to stay. Great communication with Cory, the property manager, who handles everything. Would definitely return.
Was there for a University of Oregon graduation stay which worked out well. The place was very clean, situated in quiet country outside of Eugene, and the manager was very responsive. The house was laid out well for a bigger family.
Two things that could have been better: 1) more blankets, there were no throws or extra blankets; 2) the septic smell from the shower water overpowered the house. One of our guests who is sensitive to smells got another hotel room.
I would stay there again but would bring extra blankets.
Stayed here to wakeboard. Traveled to Foster Lake for two Wake the World events for foster families. During weekend, went to Lowell State Rec Area for family wakeboarding. Location is great. VRBO home is very comfortable and located close to amenities. Had a wonderful time. Plan on reserving home for next year’s events.
Hayden’s Green Acres was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were well stocked with towels!! The kitchen is well equipped to cook with a lot of room for people to stand around ;) The only minor glitch is that it is a short hike to the river front access. This is a great place to stay to get away from hustle & bustle. The drive from town is easy and only about 20 minutes out… watch out for deer!
We were surprised at how beautiful this place is. It is the perfect getaway. We came from Texas. Even though we have hill country areas, this place is gorgeous. Nestled in between trees and nature. Beautiful views, river access. The home itself is roomy enough for family, equipped with necessities and extremely clean upon check in. Host is wonderful, very attentive. Kept in touch with us and responded quickly. We definitely recommend this place!!!
We were looking for a place to stay in Oregon for our son’s graduation in Eugene and our niece’s graduation in Corvallis. Hotel prices were crazy for the graduation week, but we got lucky! We found this wonderful property about 15 miles outside of Eugene and booked it. The price was very reasonable and the house was great! It is a serene and very peaceful setting in the country near a river. The house was very well equipped and perfect for our family and dog. It is spacious and a fabulous place to gather with a large kitchen and dining area, and a BBQ outside to grill. We had such a great time, my family is already looking at staying here again for the Oregon vs. Oregon State football game. Thank you Cory for such a wonderful time!
The property was mostly great. We only had two issues. First, the home was not as clean as I expected, especially for how much we paid. I mean it was mostly clean, meaning the big stuff was clean. The place was very neat and overall clean, but not the smaller details (such as windowsills, baseboards, the soaking tub, some pots in the kitchen and the coffee pot). It was not a huge issue, as we did continue with our stay. Second, there is a camera on the back of the garage (garage has two cameras and the house has about 2 or 3 - all cameras are outside). Inside the house, the camera can be seen through a silding glass door at the back of the house. There are no blinds on the sliding door. Now, we could not confirm whether or not the camera could see inside of the house, but it is a bubble type one, so I assume it's a pretty wide angled view. This was a little bit of an issue as we didn't feel like we had complete privacy. The home is in a rural area; the nearest walmart is 24 minutes away. So, I understand the need for cameras to keep the property safe, but it made us slightly uncomfortable. We just covered the glass door with a sheet and all was well. My family and I enjoyed this property for the outdoor space. My 3 active boys and our hyper dog had the best time running around and exploring. Also, the owner left all necessary info about the home, including his personal phone number. I was so happy to see that, as it's helpful when there are problems. We enjoyed our stay!
A very nice home away from it all. Perfect for relaxing , distressing and a short drive to Eugene & Springfield.
