CARRIAGE HOUSE BUNGALOW/LAKE VIEW/ VILLAGE OF WATKINS

Come relax and enjoy our CHARMING Bungalow Carriage House. The property sits on the top of a hill on five acres with a great lake view There are lots of trees on our property so you feel like you are in the county but three blocks down the hill is the Village of Watkins Glen. The Watkins Glen State Park is a 10 minute walk away and the Race Tract is a 10 minute ride away. There is a great private outside sitting area with views of the lake, firepit & BBQ. Its great to sit in your comfy Adirondack chairs while viewing the lake enjoying your morning coffee or afternoon drink by the fire pit. If you are not enjoying one of our many local restaurants the bungalow boasts a full kitchen with all you need to make a lovely meal. FYI
WELCOME BASKET IS PROVIDED IN YOUR BUNGALOW

My husband and I loved our stay at the carriage house! The cottage was clean and is in close proximity to the gorge, restaurants, wineries, and only a 20 minute drive to the Corning Museum of Glass. We would definitely stay here again!

Sort and sweet: Of the more than 40 VRBOs we have rented, this was the best ever. Everything first class (bar of Dove soap, not this “body wash” stuff!). Specious, beautiful views, perfect location, nice goodies. Theresa great host.

This property is an absolute dream and ideal location for a stay at Watkins Glen / Lake Seneca. The carriage house has modern comforts with original cabin farm charm. Theresa’s hospitality is cherry on top. Highly recommend!

The cottage is a perfect size for two people. The place was well stocked and provided a few surprises by the owner, which was a very nice touch. The location is near town but challenging to walk due to the steep hill the place resides on. However, the view of the lake makes up for having to drive into town.

This property is great and is as described. It’s clean, a great size for a couple to stay. Theresa was accommodating and helpful. Her and her husband own a bar in the marina and we went and had drinks, it was a fun welcoming atmosphere! The location of the carriage house is great, 7 mins from Watkins glen state park, you can walk there or down into town to explore. It’s also central to tons of other waterfalls and the wineries. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful cottage on a scenic property wirh Seneca Lake views. Clean and very convenient to Watkins Glen State Park (a must-see, with its 19 waterfalls!), and very close to restaurants and shops in Watkins Glen. Really appreciated the welcome basket of muffins, snacks, wine, and the supply of water and soft drinks. Property is ready to stay in. No need to bring bedding, soaps etc. Everything was provided, including coffee and fresh half and half! Very welcoming and stress-free.

Great spot for long weekend visit to the area. I was there for racing and the property is perfectly situated for getting to the track as well as a number of other local attractions. It was quiet and peaceful at night and a great place to recharge. I’ll be back!

The carriage house was perfect for our 3 night visit to the Watkins Glen area. What a gem! The location is quiet, private, and we enjoyed the view of the lake below from the Adirondack chairs. What a lovely spot to sit and read and enjoy the breezes. Our host was intentional and thoughtful in making their guests comfortable; even supplying some treats in the refrigerator! Highly recommend!

This cottage is perfectly appointed for a private getaway that’s close to the sights. My husband and I appreciated the comfort of the furnishings, a kitchen that met our needs and the hospitality shown by our host. The views from the outdoor sitting area are spectacular and we enjoyed watching the wildlife that ventured near. 10/10 in our book!

Comfortable house and gorgeous view

We enjoyed everything about the Carriage house! Spacious living area, well appointed kitchen, comfortable bed, great location. Theresa gave us some great tips for exploring the area, including the Ithaca Farmer’s market, Senaca Falls and a wonderful local pub, The Oar House. Great food, views and vibe!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. It’s a beautiful little cottage on a beautiful property. The views of the lake from the cottage and fire pit were outstanding. The location was great - close to town and Watkins Glen State Park. We really enjoyed our stay!
