I had a lovely stay here with my dog for a work retreat. After working, I went for a bike ride or hike every afternoon; there are so many great trails within a 5-10 minutes drive! The fenced-in yard was great for my dog, and we both loved sitting on the deck in the sun. Bernie was super responsive and provided great information. The house was so cozy, and was even decorated for the holidays.

The place was exactly as listed. A beautiful place close enough to see the sequoias and the national forest. I do wish there was a TV in the sitting area down stairs, but it was nice to get away and enjoy the fire. The horses next door were an amazing plus as well!

Beautiful quaint A frame house which was perfect for our overnight stay. We had everything we needed. Communication was great! The location was easy to find with enough parking right in front of the house. The AC units worked great and we were comfortable the entire time. Loved the two escape ladders as a precaution; we obviously didn’t need to use them but that peace of mind was great. I would easily book again without any reservations! Water pressure in the shower was fine and the fire pit was nice. There are horses right next door, which did smell a bit depending on the wind. But that was not a big deal to us at all to get away from it all and enjoy the mountains and lake.
