This 2,730 square foot home has 4-bedrooms, with 3 full bathrooms, and a sleeper sofa. This house has everything you need for your Lake Gaston vacation! The private waterfront vacation destination has all the amenities of home - and MORE. A giant screened in porch overlooking the lake can host your dinners and evening cocktail hour. A large downstairs recreation room is great for keepingu the kids occupied in the evenings or on rainy days with ping pong table, Pac Man machine, TV, and many many books, games and puzzles! This property is not baby/toddler proofed in any way, so be cautious with very young children. A ring camera for safety is located at the front door - no other cameras are on this property.

A newly built 1,200 sf boat house is there for your enjoyment. Stay cool in covered areas but also space for prime sun bathing. A large bar on the dock for daytime delights or lunch by the water. Plenty of room for your coolers behind the bar.

Bring your boat! There are two private boat ramps for you to use in Eaton Ferry Estates. You can then dock your water vehicles conveniently at our private boat house while you vacation at Sunset Cove Lake House.

You will love this peaceful cove, but the main lake is just seconds away. Located one cove away from Eaton Ferry Bridge, you can drive to lakefront restaurants or boat right over to enjoy dinner and live music. Food Lion, ABC store, Lake Gaston Coffee, Jenny Cakes at the Lake, Lake Gaston Pizza, Overby Marina, AE Wake Rentals, and much more just minutes away!!

Valerie was absolutely delightful. We have stayed in our fair share of homes and hands down this was the best stocked kitchen we have ever seen. It made cooking for our family that we don’t see often a pleasure. The location was fantastic and Food Lion was just a few minutes away. We walked the neighborhood one morning and the few neighbors we saw were incredibly friendly. The home was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Stay here, you won’t be sorry that you did. Great house in a great cove!

The house was incredibly clean and the beds were comfortable. We loved having fires in the fire pit and hanging out on the beautiful dock. The cove is nice and quiet, perfect for kayaking with the kayaks provided. It's also quick and easy to get to the main lake and the dock is a perfect place to park your boat. In addition to the house being fantastic, communication with Valerie was incredible. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

What a gem on Lake Gaston! This vacation rental was everything we hoped for and more. The beautiful views and peaceful setting in a secluded cove made it the perfect escape. We especially loved waking up to the sound of birds singing each morning—it was like nature’s own soundtrack. The huge screened-in porch on the second floor was a dream come true for my art projects—so much space, fresh air, and inspiring scenery. Fantastic family vacation

They house was clean and had everything we could have possibly needed. The kitchen was very well stocked, plenty of towels. My grown children had so much fun just hanging out together playing games and laughing all night. I would highly recommend this lake house. We will be coming back to stay here.

We had a great week (July 2025)! Perfect size house for our family of 6. House was well appointed and maintained. Excellent outdoor areas (boathouse and patio). Fun game room/tv room in basement. Good beds and baths. Loved location near Eaton Ferry Marina and mid-lake. One small downside is the shallow/mucky water off the dock, but you only have to go out a short way to get to great spots for swimming/floating, which we did all day. Owner was very responsive to all my messages, including an emergency service call to fix a/c mid-week (an easy fix). I recommend this house and would stay here again.

I cannot say enough about this beautiful home. It is so well maintained and comfortable. It is beautifully decorated. The beds are incredibly comfortable. The home is stocked with everything you can possibly need.Hanging out on the covered dock was such a treat. There was plenty of seating for everyone. We loved having coffee in the morning and cocktails in the afternoon on the screened in porch. The homeowner was always quick to respond with thoughtful helpful messages. We will definitely be back.
