Enjoy the comforts of a private suite in an occupied home with separate entrance and side yard. House is located in South Anchorage with views of the Chugach Mountains and Turnagain Arm. A 15-minute drive from the airport and immediate access to the Seward Highway to take you south to Girdwood or north to Denali, wherever your travel adventures take you. One bedroom with ¾ bath and a half kitchen with an induction countertop electric burner. Fresh Alaskan coffee in K-cup or beans to grind to suit your taste. Kitchen area has all the amenities if you'd like to make a home-cooked meal. This suite is also the perfect set-up if you're just needing an overnight stay. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Alison's place. We had been traveling for several months and seeing Allison's place felt like home. Unlike several other places we stayed at, Alison's place had extra linens, utensils, coffee and a small pantry with items to use. It reminded me of a backpacker's pantry. The location was a short drive to groceries, fast food, restaurants and several hiking trails. Best of all, we got to see a small moose one day eating leaves off of a nearby tree. If you're looking for a comfortable place that is convenient, don't hesitate to stay at Alison's place.

Hosts were very communicative, attentive to our needs ( shoveled driveway and shoveled snow off our car ). We had to extend our stay due to weather and they gladly extended us for two additional days. We have already booked the unit for two separate nights this year.
