Condado del Mar

Overall the actual condo was very nice, the outside of the building is really in need of updating/repair this includes the pool area. The views were beautiful but the area of Ashford Ave is incredible congested.

We liked it so much we stayed here again!

We have stayed here three times and really enjoyed it each time. The apartment is as nice as it looks in the pictures. It is very well appointed with comfortable bedding, new appliances, nice furniture and a beautiful ocean view. The apartment is conveniently located on the beach, on the Ashford Avenue strip, where there are many restaurants, bars and shops along a one-mile strip. It is also a five-minute walk to the SuperMax supermarket and to Calle Loiza, where there are many other bars and restaurants. It is a 5-10 minute Uber ride to Old San Juan, T-Mobil Plaza and La Placita, so you don't need to rent a car unless you want to venture further into the island. I give it a 5-star rating and would definitely stay here again.

Great Apartment, Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is as nice as it looks in the pictures. It is very well appointed with comfortable bedding, new appliances, nice furniture and a beautiful ocean view. The apartment is conveniently located on the beach, on the Ashford Avenue strip, where there are many restaurants, bars and shops along a one-mile strip. It is also a five-minute walk to the SuperMax supermarket and to Calle Loiza, where there are many other bars and restaurants. It is a 5-10 minute Uber ride to Old San Juan, T-Mobil Plaza and La Placita, so you don't need to rent a car unless you want to venture further into the island. The only negative is that the hot water for the shower is not working. However, I still give it a 5-star rating would definitely stay here again.

Nice place, but with room for improvement

Building looked run-down. Security not friendly. Door to condo seemed flimsy even with dead-bolt; recommend replacing (see neighbors' doors). Inside as-pictured. AMAZING view. Outdoor seating VERY sturdy. Need door mat by patio; otherwise slippery floor. Need hand towels in kitchen. Toaster included but no blender. We left French Press for future guests. Please add cocktail shaker & martini glasses. Need written instructions for stove and TV. Not enough counter space in bathroom for toiletries; add a bathroom shelf. LUXURIOUS bath towels (Soho Loft)! Shower spouts only work one at a time; not multi-functional. Poor water pressure & inconsistent temperature. Small bath mat; add larger mat and move small one in front of sink. Good AC. Lot of TV glare; need curtains/shades in main room. Please buy Swiffer dry & wet pads for easier clean up. Great location. Mini-mart in building (water, ice, beer); SuperMax grocery store only 5-10 min walk. Pool ladder has broken plastic, exposed concrete & jagged edges, resulted in major cut on foot. Be sure to use steps on shallow end. Easy beach access; ocean temp great! Be aware of ongoing 1-2 hour power outages throughout Puerto Rico (power went out few times during stay). Recommend as long as comfortable with (mostly) minor issues.

Excellent condo

This airy, lovely condo was excellent for our brief vacation. The only (minor) problem was that it was difficult to get the hot water to function properly in the kitchen. But the unit was well furnished with good dishes, glasses, silverware, pots and pans, and all the essentials. Thank you for providing such a nice home away from home.

Beautiful Condo

Property is just as it is pictured. Beautiful oceanfront view! Walking distance to restaurants and grocery. Short Uber drive to Old San Juan.
