Come enjoy a stay at “Down By the Bay”, a very spacious Cape Cod style home with in-ground pool, just a very short walk from the Delaware Bay Beach in North Cape May. Plenty of room and comfortably sleeping up to 10 people, this home is well for equipped for vacation and entertaining with 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths (2,487 sq ft according to local tax records). This home is perfect for large or multi-family/friends looking to rent the same home. The first level of the home has a huge living room, full kitchen with washer/dryer, nice size Florida room with pull out sofa (queen), and 2 bedrooms (both queen beds) with a shared bathroom and half bath. Up the stairs to the second level leads to another full kitchen, family room, and 3 bedrooms with a shared full bathroom. One bedroom has a queen bed with separate bunk/2 singles. The second and third bedroom both have two single beds. There is also a pull-out sofa in the living room as well. Full bathrooms on both floors are tiled flooring and stall showers with seating.From the second-floor kitchen, you step out onto the elevated deck which faces the Delaware Bay and overlooks the back yard, perfect for outdoor dining on the patio set, enjoying the sunset and pool activities. In the back yard, there is an in-ground pool and an indoor screen porch with furniture for relaxing poolside. Pool is 3 -5 in depth. The garage is accessible, which stores the beach equipment (6 beach chairs & umbrella) and 4 bicycles for guest use. Nicely landscaped yard with additional outdoor furniture for dining. A propane BBQ grill for guests use will be available also. 3 TVs in the casual living areas and 3 bedrooms have TVs available.The beach access is a very short 1 block walk. The beach in North Cape May is free, no beach tags needed. Cape May is a short 10-15 min ride. Wildwood about 20 mins. Dining and shopping available within 5 mins.The homeowners have included a highchair and a pack and play for guests bringing small children. Pillows and blankets are included, but tenants are to provide their own linens and towels. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of place settings/dining utensils and coffee makers. OWNER REQUIRES POOL LIABILITY WAIVER TO BE SIGNED WHEN BOOKING. POOL IS OPEN MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND THOUGH THE RENTAL WEEK OF 9/13/25 AND WILL CLOSE ON 9/20/25.. There is an additional $500 security deposit due on all reservations, a $350 cleaning fee, and $65 processing fee.
