This newly renovated home is just steps from a magnificent 180 degree view of the lake. Spend a lazy day with family and friends on either of 2 decks gazing at the natural beauty of the lake crowned with scenic hills in the distance and unspoiled views of the shoreline. Or, have an active day in the water just steps from the house. Launch your watercraft from Southpark, just a 5 minute drive away and directly across from the house. A short boat ride (a few minutes) across the cove, anchor directly behind the house and play in the lake all day. It is a great home base for exploring this uncrowded, pristine part of Beaver Lake with its stunning limestone bluffs. There is so much beauty in this part of the Ozarks with over 28,000 acres of lake to boat, fish, ski, kayak or find an interesting spot to dock and explore the 500 feet of shoreline with numerous caves. When you tire, boat back to the cove and anchor for easy access to the house, you can break whenever you like... go in for a nap, another drink, watch TV or grab a bite.
Upstairs is the master bedroom and completely renovated bath with walk in shower. The master bedroom, newly renovated kitchen, dining and modern living space with fireplace all overlook a sweeping view of the lake.
Enter the upper deck from either master bedroom or the living area. It contains barbecue pit, dining table and couch with firepit. Enjoy dinner and your favorite libation while marveling at the night sky. You''ll be amazed at the view of the stars as light pollution is at a minimum. In need of some romance? A bottle of wine, the reflection of the moon on the water below, a warm fire dancing in the night air and cuddling under a blanket is the perfect date night.
Downstairs is a bedroom with queen bed and updated full bathroom. There is 2nd bedroom with queen bed and a 3rd bedroom with queen bed and pull out sofa. This room is the kids hang out that contains 65" TV, gaming equipment, board games and cards. The 2nd & 3rd bedrooms share another updated full bath.
From the hall downstairs or the playroom sliding glass doors, enter the lower deck. The lower deck includes plenty of seating and another firepit as well as a 4 step staircase to the beachy area at the water's edge. There is an outdoor bar area with TV so you can enjoy the beauty of the lake without missing a moment of your favorite show or sporting event. Plenty of room to spread out, have fun together or break away to a more private space on the deck. Enjoy the back porch, read a book, take a nap or catch up with friends. Or play "bing bong", our family's much faster version of ping pong on a smaller table. When ready for another adventure, climb aboard one of two kayaks and explore the cove. You can even fish from the kayak if the mood strikes.
Ready to hit the road for more adventure? Garfield is surrounded by a variety of great parks for the nature enthusiast or head to one of many numerous communities with more culture, shopping, dining and nightlife options. You can find more hiking, biking, fishing or horseback riding at either Dogwood Canyon Nature Park (49 miles) or Hobbs State Park (35 miles) both about an hour away. Looking for a little less nature and more culture or nightlife? Top spots to play include Eureka Springs (29 miles), Bentonville (25 miles) or Branson(77 miles). Soak up the quirky spirit of Eureka where art and natural beauty abound (Thorncrown Chapel is a must!), Bentonville with the amazing Crystal Bridges Museum (an architectural marvel) and the enthusiasm of a young, hip and growing community with new restuarants touting adventurous chefs and unique nightlife including the Momentary and the Amp (outdoor concert venue in nearby Rogers). Mountain biking? Well, heck yeah! NW Arkansas has been named the #3 Best Mountain Bike Destination in the USA 2022 by Jeff Barber 7/26/22 (www.singletracks.com/mtb trails). You can join the fun in Bentonville, AR. Need to scratch a shopping itch? There are plenty of unique treasures to be found in downtown Rogers or downtown Bentonville, or head to the Pinnacle Mall in Rogers for more traditional wares.
Traveling with a younger crowd? A day trip to Branson is worth your time. Head to Silver Dollar City, a fantastic amusement park (in our opinion it rivals other theme parks but at a more reasonable price). It boasts 4-5 toe curling roller coasters, a natural cave and as the theme park is set in the 1880s, there are many craftsmen and women creating tools, art and food the old fashioned way. Fun to watch! Branson is also home to White Water, an outdoor water park that is worth your time. Finally, tour the strip and catch a show if you desire or head to the outlet mall. There is plenty to do!

Absolutely beautiful home on a wonderful lake. My family and I truly loved our stay and the property owners made the process of check in and out very easy. I highly recommend staying here.
Beautiful property with a picturesque setting. Property was as promised and the host was responsive to questions. We would rent from this owner again if we are ever in the area.

Linda thank you so much for staying with with us! You were a great guest and we would love to have you back again. Thanks for taking great care of our home.
We enjoyed the cleanliness of this home, the size and space, the outdoor areas, the amenities of outdoor seating and kayaks, and of course the lake access! The rocky shore was a perfect distance from the home. We loved the neighborhood and it was easy to find! We will definitely be coming back!
Honestly, I have stayed in the Lost Bridge area for years, and for our family and this setup, it couldn't have been better. The house is awesome, very clean, updated and the amenities are second to none. The outside TV was great for evenings and added entertainment while grilling! Great place, a great host; we will be back!

This was our second summer staying at this home and we just love the location on the lake, the quiet neighborhood, the kayaks provided, plenty of room for everyone in our crew to sleep comfortably! Owners are super responsive and easy to work with! We love Water’s Edge! It’s now a yearly tradition to kayak out to the island we can see from the deck and shoreline!

Melissa and her family we very responsive and helpful with their communication. They are a great family and this is their second time visiting with us. We are so glad that they are making family memories at our home. I would highly recommend this family to other hosts. Thanks again Melissa for booking with us! Hope to see y’all soon.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and very well equipped. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook. The only thing we found missing was a pitcher. The weather was cold so unfortunately we didn’t get to utilize much outdoor amenities, but we enjoyed the beautiful lake views. Communication was great! Would definitely stay again!
Cannot say enough about the waters edge property. The attention to detail and the thoughtful added touches that jase and erin added to their home made it feel like you were their special guest. The home is very well maintained and equipt with everything we needed. all of my questions I had were answered within a 10 minute time frame. Plenty of parking and the kayaks were an added bonus that we all enjoyed. We have been coming to beaver lake for years and by far this is my favorite rental yet.

About the host
Hosted by Jace and Erin
Originally from New Orleans, LA we are high school sweethearts that have been married over 30 years now. Earlier in our careers we moved around and lived in many different cities including Dallas, Minneapolis and Chicago. Our opportunity to move to NW Arkansas came in 2004. We transferred here for work not knowing what to expect. We left the hustle and bustle of Chicago for the slower pace of a small town. But the southern charm, beauty and kindness of a community filled with transplants like us helped us to fall in love and begin calling NW Arkansas our home. Our favorite things about this area? We experience all four seasons in this part of the country and enjoy lots of southern hospitality. We are nestled in the incredibly beautiful Ozark Mountains and are blessed with numerous lakes, hiking trails and some of the most wonderful, brilliant sunsets possible. While we often miss our flamboyant home town with its vivacious, zesty taste for life, sinful cuisine and colorful, rich culture, we are content to raise our three children here and travel back home as often as possible to share our youth with our youths. :) We remember the NOLA culture and try to infuse that zest for life that we learned growing while experiencing Mardi Gras, the French Quarter and all of the wonders of the Sportsman's Paradise. Like we say in the Crescent City, "Laissez les bon temps roulet" (Let the good times roll)!
Why they chose this property
The access to and views of the lake. We love that Beaver Lake has been mostly untouched. This particular cove has no boat docks which means the view is uninterrupted and pristine. The shoreline has been preserved and the natural beauty is incredibly relaxing. However, due to the lack of development, there are very few homes that offer the access and views of Water's Edge. Not only is the location fantastic but the house is super comfortable and has been fully renovated. It is literally steps from the water which makes play time easily accessible...no more loading up tons of stuff and traveling in search of adventure. Grab your towel, your sunscreen, take 20 steps and you're there!
In addition to the lake, the surrounding community is lovely with tree covered hills and breathtaking bluffs. During a rain, natural waterfalls appear almost instantly from nowhere. Who needs a rainfall app out here? There is a community pool, tennis, and hiking trails too. Take a quick drive into town and get a giant ice cream cone...you'll have trouble finishing the whole thing.
