Gracious Gift Basket & Lots of S[ace

We are regular renters every Winter and we loved Beach Cities Quiet Getaway. Best of all was the Customer Service ~ In all the years we have used VRBO/Homeaway, we have never had a gift basket upon our arrival: wine, candy, snacks! We had a couple of questions and Ivana even answered my call from a ski slope and asked if she could call me after she gets down the hill! Both Ivana and Chris were most diligent in addressing anything we needed right away. Our grandchildren stayed with us for a few days and we had lots of room for everyone. The patio was spacious with golf course views. The bed configuration is different than what is on the website, as guest rooms only have one bed each. There is LOTS of storage space. Towels and chairs for the Beach. The location is perfect ~ close to everything. The only noise we had was golf balls being teed off - lol! The neighbors are nice and friendly offering any assistance. Our only 'complaint' was some cleaning issues that I'm confident they have addressed. We hope Beach Cities will be available for our use in the years coming.

Not a relaxing place !

We rented for 10 weeks. 1. Condo is on a golf course that is maintained 7 days a week from 6:30am - 3:00 PM. You wake up to lawnmowers every morning. You cannot leave the windows open. NO peaceful coffee moments. 2. There is no cable TV. They have no ability to receive cable. You can buy UTube tv at your expense. There is nothing that indicates this in the write up. 3. The shower doors are badly corroded, tub & shower handles need replacing. Cannot shut off shower from inside the shower. You cannot use both showers at the same time. the water temperature is compromised. 4. The management company is very difficult to deal with. It seems there is no clear communication between the owner & the property manager.

To the Reader: First and foremost, this guest requested to book again for 3 Months in 2024 however, after serious consideration I decided against it. As a result she left a fabricated untrue review due to rejection. Please refer to all other reviews on this site and to include Airbnb, and see this review is not consistent with this listing and does not represent the experiences guests have had at this condo. Judy is a very demanding, time consuming guest that’s never satisfied, no matter what you do. She doesn’t understand / respect boundaries with requests, personal messages or house rules and seems to believe there is a 24 hr hotel front desk service provided. Very difficult to deal with, extremely high maintenance, and simply not worth renting too again. I do not recommend for other hosts.
