Paul, the host, was great and really responsive to all questions and provided good information on how to get to LSU football game. Excellent location if going to LSU for sporting event and Pastime restaurant (2 blocks away) provided bus transportation to game.VRBO was clean, comfy beds and in great locations. Would stay there again if in area. Thank you Paul for being a great host!
The location was convenient for our coming and goings in Baton Rouge. Fortunately for us, there was always a parking spot in front. There are more units in the building than can be seen from the front. This unit is well appointed. The owner was responsive and available, if needed.
The property was clean and homey. It was close to many restaurants. The host was quick to respond to messages and very helpful. I would stay here again.

Thanks again for visiting. LSU move-in weekend we’re booked solid because of our proximity to campus and people seem to enjoy the occassion. Football game days are the same. Visit again anytime.
Property was easy to locate, in a convenient area. Communication with Paul was amazing, and he was on top of everything. Property was just as described. Would stay again!
We came for the Ole Miss/ LSU football game. Great weekend and close to everything!

Good Location Need Some Attention to Detail
Conveniently located with great beds. Some better cleaning and attention to a couple of minor maintenance issues would have helped give the place a higher rating.

We've had only great; review until yours. I'm not sure what "minor" maintenance issues would be because you didn't specify. I do a walk through before each visit and would love to know what "better" cleaning would be. I love feedback so we can improve but without specifics I'm not quite sure what to look for. Thanks for visiting and come back again and see the improvement.
We stayed for the for a tournament at Raising Canes center. This apartment is the perfect location! No need to worry about parking, just walk the block and a half to the front door of the center! The apartment was on the top floor of a lovely brick building with a nice veranda. The apartment itself was clean, in good working condition and just as listed. The toilet runs a little slow, but just be patient. The host was easy to contact and always quick to respond. Great little place for me and my kids to spend a week.
This is very convenient to the downtown area and well priced. Property was clean, but it is an older building. Had a little hiccup with the readiness of the property, but host was very available and helped remedy things. No regrets renting here.

We attempted to contact the host multiple times because the hey was missing from the lockbox. He never contacted us back. We had to find a different place to stay because we were unable to access the apartment we rented.
Barely heard from host after begging for instructions. No air conditioning in one bedroom. Smells bad. Bugs all around. Arrived around midnight and left around 9am after not being able to reach host or VRBO. Never received even a partial refund. Avoid like the plague unless you’re comfortable with a plague.

The property has potential to be a nice and convenient stay. Problem was, it was dirty, the place was very muggy, the ac units were outdated, the ceiling fans did not work properly. A big inconvenience was having a refrigerator that did not work. Ruined some of the food. With some elbow grease, fixes and updates, this could be a great place to stay.
When I drove up, I didn’t know what to expect. The complex is very unassuming but we opened the door to the apartment and it was just the cutest! Beds are comfy and the kitchen had everything you could think of in the way of cooking and dining materials. The bath towels were fluffy and perfectly sized! We never had an issue with parking right in front and this cute rental is close to everything! LSU, the Mississippi and great dining!
Cannot say enough about the host who was readily available for any requests and even helped out when my daughter left her jewelry behind. He immediately took action to assist. Would definitely come back!
We were attending an event at Raising Cane's Rivercenter and wanted to be somewhere that we didn't have to worry about driving through traffic or paying parking fees. This location is PERFECT. We walked to the riverfront for sightseeing, walked to PJs Coffee and were able to walk to the event center (all less than 10 minutes walk).
That being said - there were some events at night that brought a lot of traffic. People were outside "pre-gaming" and hanging out. I don't know if I would go walking around by myself at night but during the day I felt completely safe.
Check-in was great, Paul was responsive and let us know if we had any issues. We came in late Friday/early Saturday morning and were able to check in with the lockbox code. We requested a late checkout on Sunday and Paul was kind to allow us an extra hour.
If you are wanting a 5 star luxury experience, this is not the place for you. If you want somewhere to get a decent night's sleep and a warm shower, this is perfect. The building is older and it feels like an older building. The beds were comfy and clean. The bathroom was clean but the walls and fan could use a good scrub and detail brush. We didn't cook or use the kitchen so no comments about that. I would probably stay here again just for the location alone.
The property is centrally located to everything. It was quiet and charming. All the amenities stated in the posting were accurate. Paul was easy to communicate with provided all the information and accommodated our family. Will stay here for every visit in the future-
In Louisiana we call it "Lagniappe", a little something extra.. Sometimes that "little something extra" is what sets you apart and we tried to keep that in mind when setting up each unit. We've included things for you to enjoy that we would want as a guest.
Each of our units are uniquely decorated with touches of Louisiana. There are many local artist original works and numbered prints on some of the walls. When possible we re-purpose and reuse secondary market furnishings and other interesting items we find. This is what gives each unit a character of it's own. To view all the listings click on the Host's picture and follow instructions to view all other listings and pick your favorite.
This listing is a new remodel with beaded board ceiling in the kitchen and bathroom, crown moldings and exposed brick walls. Wonderful, traditional Louisiana style.
The beds are comfortable with new linens and extra pillows, including "Bellagio Home" luxury pillows for a peaceful night's sleep.
The kitchen is complete with built in microwave, smooth top stove, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and all the necessary utensils for those who like to cook. There's a coffee maker for you to brew a fresh pot of Louisiana's very own Community Coffee that we provide for you. It's a true local dark roast that will wake you up. Also, in the freezer are glasses of mugs for you to enjoy your favorite beverage.
Included in the bathroom is Hotel/Spa dual shower head and hand held with multiple jet options. The towels are nice and thick. Additionally, we include Matrix, exclusive for Wyndham, soap, shampoo, and conditioner for your use if you need them.
Finally, If you're driving an automobile you'll want to know we provide FREE, ONSIGHT, RESERVED parking, which downtown can be an invaluable luxury. Now that's some "Lagniappe"!
