Just 1 block from Government St & S Acadian Thruway with popular restaurants & unique shops plus 2 nearby parks with golf courses, playground, dog park & children's museum.
We also boast an active downtown community of museums, cultural arts, restaurants and historical landmarks, plus our state Capitol with scenic and historical grounds and lakeside park. "Capital Heights" is one of Baton Rouge's oldest developments of mostly vintage homes with major renovations while still maintaining the neighborhood's charming early 1900's character.
Our location is on a one-way street with a dedicated pedestrian and bicycle lane and within short walking distances to many popular restaurants and local favorites.

The Bee Happy Hive is my personal vacation home and my vision of a perfect efficient and comfortable "tiny" home (800 sq ft) with an open living room and kitchen, large master Br, a cozy guest room, a private courtyard, covered patio and fenced backyard.
I personally manage my vacation home, so unique needs of and/or requests from our guests are encouraged. COMPLIMENTARY DIY breakfast items and condiments are included during your stay (eggs, bacon and/or sausage, pancakes and/or waffles, grits, cereals, bagels and/or toaster pastries, etc. BYO milk, juice, and/or fruit.
As a recent professional renovation, modern features include all new wood floors, slab granite kitchen counters and custom cabinets, stainless appliances, and whirlpool bath.
