Great house for a girls weekend. The main house slept 10 people comfortably. Enjoyed going for a morning hike in the freshly fallen snow on the land trust trails behind the house.
Great place for us enjoying our time with spacious rooms, game room, hot tub Great Super Bowl with KC lost

Jane, thank you so much for staying at Chatham Hills House. I love your comment about it being nostalgic of the area - I totally agree and that's what we were going for when we renovated and redecorated. I'm so happy you and your group had a great time! Come back again anytime!
Wonderful location and amenities. Booked for middle of winter. Easily could’ve stayed inside the house the entire trip, tons of entertainment options. Best part was the acres of trail system in the backyard. So much fun!

Thank you for your detailed review! We absolutely love hearing that you had a great time. Please come back again soon!
Emily was very responsive to my questions prior to our stay. After we checked in we discovered the hot water wasn't working - Emily had someone there within an hour and fixed the problem. Great space for our family holiday gathering.

Thank you so much for your review, Stephanie! So glad we could get the hot water issue fixed super quick for you.
We spent 5 nights at the Chatham Hills House for a family winter getaway. House was roomy and had plenty of spaces for the 11 of us to spread out or gather together. The family enjoyed the outdoors snowshoeing the attached DCLT nature preserve, sledding, firepit, and hot tub!The bunk room had all the grandchildren excited and offered them a place of their own to watch tv and hang out together. The home was neat and tidy and ready for our visit. The crew that came to clear the parking lot and sidewalks after 7” of snow was greatly appreciated! Communication with our hosts was wonderful and extremely prompt! We would definitely consider staying again!

Thank you so much for this incredible review! We’re thrilled to hear your winter family getaway at Chatham Hills was everything you hoped for!
It makes us so happy to know your group was able to enjoy the nature preserve, sledding, the firepit, and of course the hot tub, and we love that the bunk room brought so much joy to the grandkids (that’s one of our favorite features for family stays!).
Our team will be grateful to hear your kind words as well, especially our snow crew. And thank you for mentioning communication! We take pride in being available and responsive for our guests.
We would absolutely love to welcome you back again for another stay — winter or any season!

Rent with caution. It is a very old home that was attempted to have been updated. There are 3 different heat sources that were poorly regulated, a musty smell through out the home and many containers of Damp Rid randomly placed to help. There were no paths shoveled to the outdoor amenities. A shovel was hard to find because it was between the house and deck under the snow. Beds were very low quality and the king size bed only had ONE center support left. We discovered this after the suspicion that the bed would not hold two adults. The other beds were not properly maintained (screws tightened). There was damage from previous stays that were not noted. There was no ice or water from the new refrigerator (undisclosed) and a low quality sofa with no cushioning. We had to wash the dishes before using because of debris in them. No comforts of home feeling. Emily was kind in our many interaction, but gave the impression she didn't know much about the home or how things worked inside. It felt like they were not prepared for our stay. Would not recommend to family or friends. We enjoyed the time spent outside of the rental the most on our weekend.
Beautiful home that offers all the qualities you would expect at home. Our hosts thought of EVERYTHING! We celebrated a milestone birthday - all women. We were pleased to have FIVE full bathrooms, a fully stocked coffee bar, every kitchen necessity possible (all good quality), plenty of linens/blankets, towels, paper goods, and they even provided full size pump bottles of shampoo/conditioner, and body wash in each shower! I have never seen this! Thank you for allowing us to be your guest!

Deanna, your group was one of my favorites to host. You ladies were absolutely WONDERFUL! I'm so happy you enjoyed all of the special touches we provide for our guests! That's what it's all about! Come back again, anytime!
Poorly completed renovations caused an upstairs shower to drain through the kitchen ceiling. A maintenace person was not readily available for a fix or inspection so we were unable to use that bath unit. While this did not make our stay uninhabitable no effort was made to adjust the price paid for our trip to make things right. No communication after initial discussion about not being able to send someone. Sent private review and heard nothing. Disappointing end to an otherwise fun couples trip. Location was great and layout for the property was nice. Renovations looked good but there were hidden issues. I would be cautious about booking again.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback and I’m truly glad to hear you still enjoyed the location, layout, and overall trip.
I do want to address the shower situation directly, as that is absolutely not the experience we aim to provide. The leak you experienced was due to a newly discovered issue that had not presented itself prior to your stay. Our team attempted to send maintenance immediately, but due to a high-priority emergency elsewhere in the county during the same weekend, we were unfortunately not able to get someone on site as quickly as we normally would.
That said , the fact that follow-up communication fell short afterward is on us, and I appreciate you bringing that to our attention. It’s something we’ve now corrected internally to ensure no guest feels left hanging after reporting an issue.
For full transparency we have permanently corrected that hidden plumbing defect so it cannot happen to any future guests.
Please know we value your feedback, and if you’re open to it, we’d love the opportunity to personally host you again and make it right with a future stay credit.
Thank you again! We’re grateful you enjoyed the property overall, and your honesty helps us continue to elevate the guest experience.

Fantastic family house!
The house is stocked so well! They didn’t miss a thing. Full size shampoo and body washes in all the bathrooms, ample towels, every dish or utensil you would need to cook, board games, coffee, and kids toys! We came with a party of 10. The table was big enough for all of us to sit at, as well as the living space. I loved the bon fire, and outdoor seating areas as well! The dishwasher stopped working our second night and we had a large group we cooked for one evening and tried to use the dishwasher to realize it wasn’t working. It was around 8pm. We texted Emily, and she responded right away. She had a maintenance worker respond that night so it didn’t inconvenience the rest of our stay. We were all extremely happy to not have to wash dishes for 10 people for the rest of our stay. That is the kind of customer service that in return will have us back at this house next year for our get together!
Easy to find location and accessible parking. On arrival, we found the front door unlocked. Found garbage can on side deck tipped and garbage around the deck. Did pick it up. One lite out in dining room. Lots of room for playing games and relaxing. The king bed is uncomfortable, dips in middle. Downstairs toilet keeps on running. Loved the dining room table for family time. Like the set up of the house and all the bathrooms. Thanks for the hot tub and game room. Do think the light switches could be labeled. There was a vase of dead roses on the kitchen island. Appliances worked well. No smoke detector in kitchen but did see one laying outside on the same deck as mentioned before. Your maintenance needs some tweaking. Thanks for the stay.

Charming and cozy family getaway.
Great location. Plenty of room for our family party of six. We all enjoyed darts in the game room. The weather wasn’t great for outdoor activities so we were glad for the comfortable accommodations. We woke up to snow and took advantage of the sleds in the activity shed. Hoping to come again, maybe in the summer.
Thanks for the feedback! I’d love to know what missed the mark so we can fix it for the next guest. If you’re open to sharing a few specifics (what you expected vs. what you found), please reach out! We’re always improving and your notes help us dial it in.
