We take all guest concerns seriously, which is why we immediately offered to send maintenance when issues were raised during the stay. We’re sorry that wasn’t the resolution you were looking for. Regarding the lawn — we installed fresh sod shortly before your arrival and reached out to coordinate watering. Per your preference, we respected your privacy and did not send anyone by. We appreciate that you stepped in, though we never intended that to fall on you. Regarding the Ring doorbell — this is fully disclosed in our VRBO listing prior to booking, as is standard for many properties for guest and property security. We want to clarify that our property is professionally cleaned between every stay, and bedding is always freshly laundered. We maintain several rotating sets of bedding and towels to ensure every guest has fresh linens regardless of turnover time. The carpet tack strips at the bedroom entrance are standard installation, though we will inspect and secure any that may have shifted. We were not aware of any poison ivy on the property and have since had the exterior reviewed. We genuinely wish your family, especially your husband, a full and speedy recovery.
