Location was great & the washer, beach chairs, and umbrella were all helpful perks. We also enjoyed the Nintendo 64 so much we bought one ourselves. If you're looking for a place to JUST sleep, this is it.Unfortunately, the experience fell short given what we paid. On arrival, the exterior was unkempt, the backyard had poison ivy and animal droppings. Inside, the living room was cramped, couches were dingy & smelly, and carpets were stained. We question whether the bedding was ever cleaned. We arrived around 12:15 & checkout is 11am, there is simply no way sheets, comforter, and towels could be washed, dried, & made in that time. Running our own laundry confirmed exactly how long that takes. Most concerning were the safety hazards. My husband stepped on a nail at the bedroom entrance, causing pain for the entire trip and requiring a tetanus shot. I cut my finger on a peeling oven sign. When I told the owner, I was only asked if we'd found the first aid kit. With a crawling baby, we were too afraid to let her move freely on those stained carpets & hazardous floors.Privacy was a concern. The owners showed up with little notice to water new grass — so we took over and watered it ourselves every single day, which was frustrating. An undisclosed camera added to our discomfort. The noisy master bed constantly woke the baby. Before departing, we made sure to clean up & put everything through the wash & vacuum to avoid any issues. This property has potential, but it needs work.
