About this property
The Hunter's Lodge on Hauser: The Perfect Getaway!
Escape to a tranquil lakeside retreat for your holiday getaway, just a stone's throw from the shores of Hauser Lake. This spacious home offers three bedrooms and three bathrooms, nestled on a lush, one-acre parcel with ample room for both indoor and outdoor family enjoyment.
Spanning 2,700 square feet of living space, the residence boasts three bedrooms, and additional sleeping quarters in the loft.
As you step onto the main level, you’ll find a built-in wet bar, with a pub-style table with seating for four, and the first full bathroom. The walls are adorned with a collection of taxidermy mounts, adding character to the space. One highlight of this level is the Safari Room, a dedicated space filled with incredible wildlife mounts from Africa, showcasing the beauty and diversity of the natural world.
Climb the stairs to the second level of the home, where you'll discover a fully stocked kitchen equipped with everything you need to create gourmet meals. The dining room accommodates six at the table and an additional three at the bar.
The second floor also features all three bedrooms, with the primary bedroom offering an ensuite bath, a cozy king-sized bed, and captivating views of Hauser Lake. The other two bedrooms boast lake views and feature comfortable queen-sized beds, one with an adjustable base. The third full bathroom is conveniently situated between these two bedrooms.
Ascend to the loft on the third floor, where you'll find two twin-sized beds, a double bed, and a couple of sleeping bags for the younger members of your group.
Relax on the front deck, which overlooks Hauser Lake, or enjoy views of Lake Helena and the town of Helena from the back deck, which also boasts a gas BBQ for outdoor cooking.
In the backyard, unwind around the fire pit while taking in Montana's expansive Big Sky Country.
For boating enthusiasts, there are two public boat launches nearby, with the closest just 300 yards to the south or half a mile west on Lake Helena.
Embark on boat or jet ski adventures to Black or White Sandy, where sandy beaches await, or head to Lakeside to dock your vessel, savor a meal, listen to live music, and indulge in the indoor/outdoor bar experience.
Both Hauser and Lake Helena offer excellent fishing opportunities, whether from the shore or a boat, with catches including rainbow trout, walleye, perch, pike, burbot, and the occasional brown trout. Paddleboarding and kayaking are also delightful options, as these waters are typically calm.
During the winter months, this property serves as an ideal home base for hunting or ice fishing expeditions. Montana's hunting grounds are renowned for elk, mule deer, whitetail deer, antelope, upland birds, and waterfowl.
We take great pride in this home, which holds cherished memories of our family gatherings. We invite you and your loved ones to create your own special moments here. This home has been a cherished place for family and friends to gather and enjoy quality time.
