We had a great stay here. The place was well maintained, check-in was simple, and everything worked just the way it should. The location made it easy to get around, and it felt like a good home base for our trip. Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay. The main room had a comfy bed and pillows. The dining table was nicely sized. We enjoyed the outside areas as well in the fall weather! The stonework was gorgeous and the place was spotless.

Cozy Hillside

Lovely property with so much history within the walls. Everything on the listing was accurate and the house was beautiful and very clean. Easy walk to park, downtown shops, and restaurants… we even enjoyed the company of a couple deer on the hillside. Our host was not only friendly and responsive but she went above and beyond to help accommodate our schedule. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to come back for another visit.

Cool historic home

Our family really enjoyed all the space in here to spread out. The dining room was our favorite with the rock walls and big table to enjoy dinners and cards together. The location was great to be able to walk to dinner and bars. Would definitely stay here again!

Family Wedding

Most fun and unique house we have stayed in yet! It is spacious and great for our large group! Close to Reeders Alley where our family wedding was being held. Great time and memories for everyone!

Beautiful home! Host was great!

We were looking for a place short notice for attending a family funeral. This home was beautiful! Communication with the host was exceptional and the location couldn't have been better. Located near downtown with many stores and restaurants. I highly recommend this property. Our experience couldn't have been better!

Beautiful house, great host!

Seven of us from Pennsylvania were in Helena to visit family. The house was perfectly located between my downtown brother and my Grizzly Gulch mother. The house had everything we needed and the host was always available for questions. My grandchildren, 4 and 9, thought we were staying in a castle. We throughly enjoyed our stay and can definitely recommend it to anyone traveling with a group.

Good location

Good location. Walking to restaurants and downtown walking mall, library, playground, stores, coffee shop. Close to bike and hiking trails at mt Helena. Large rooms. Outdoor space limited.

So many stairs . Beds were comfortable. Some things were dusty. Kitchen could have been organized. The grounds had thistles and some overgrown weeds . There were towels left in dryer and wet ones in washer when we went to use the washer and dryer. The place itself was comfy and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed our stay. The propane for grill was empty, it could’ve been filled for guests since for a few days it’s not worth us buying a tank full. There also is a tall bush next to the tight driveway which needs trimming..can scratch up car badly..it’s a tight driveway to get into. We were close to everything we needed ,that was great..location is good.

Thanksgiving Family Get Away

We traveled from Oregon to celebrate Thanksgiving with our daughter who plays softball at Carroll College. Everything we needed for our Thanksgiving feast was available at the house. The only thing I was missing was a Kuerig. We brought coffee pods with us. We loved learning about the history of the house and neighboring homes. It was a memorable stay! Thank you for opening your home to us.

We enjoyed our stay at Minor’s Manor. The host was very responsive. The location is excellent and within walking distance to downtown. We would definitely stay again. A few notables:-parking for 4 vehicles if your vehicles are small-plenty of room. Loved having a bedroom downstairs for our elderly family member-the description of the house notes one exterior camera. The house was surrounded by cameras and echos throughout each room in the house-would be helpful to have instructions on how to use the appliances/grill etc. We hope to return to Helena for another visit.

Everything was good, however, you have a serious pigeon problem, and they provide an alarm clock at 6am or earlier, and the T. V. Should have instructions as to how to operate it. We finally found tissues. There were supplies, however, there were none out.

Weekend retreat

Review 1-It would be nice if had a go to list of how things work in the house. 2- no tv instructions 3- no grill use instructions 4- no grill clean up instructions or tools provided 5- no explanation of water dispenser. 6- no small dish rags for dishes 7- towels and bedding very unorganized 8- shampoo, soap, not obvious 9 you can not park 4 cars in driveway They should let you know there is a window cover for the half circle window in the master. We did have to track down internet router in master after 2 hours of trying we did get it working. That said is very quirky and large and comfortable. The fire places are easy and cozy. We would stay again.

Miner’s Manor

Miner’s manor is an eclectic Helena home, rich with history. While situated conveniently to downtown and equipped well with the comforts of home, the general upkeep of the property warrants a few notes. The listing mentioned a single exterior camera but many cameras could be seen throughout the property including in the main bedroom (angled out the window), general cleanliness was a concern (dirty dishes in dishwasher, mold and mildew in shower, live and dead bugs on the floor, unpleasant urine odor in living room). While we enjoyed our stay overall, we were disappointed in the overall state of the house given the price point and associated cleaning fees. Our hope in writing this is that this historical home can be honored as future guests enjoy their stay. Addressing these main concerns can help make this rental easily one of the best in town, taking it from good to great.

1st trip to Helena Montana

If you ever get to Helena Mt this is the place to stay. Beautiful home! Gorgeous rock work. 2 fireplaces that keep you nice and toasty. Well stocked kitchen, bathrooms and the beds are so comfy. Conveniently located to everything. If I ever come back and I hope I can, I would definitely rent again
