You’ll be greeted with a spacious floor plan and a refreshing coastal boho vibe. Our updated beach house is the perfect place to relax and recharge with your family. The island is sprinkled with an assortment of places to explore. Take a stroll through historic districts, enjoy serene beach sites or awaken your senses with an adventure with countless museums and attractions. Perfect for family fun while creating memories on an unforgettable vacation with room for up to 13 guests.

The Surroundings
Being just minutes from the beach and located 2 blocks from the boat dock and local fishing spots, enjoy some fun in the sun with your family.
If fishing isn’t your thing, you’ll have plenty of activities and attractions to choose from such as Moody Gardens, helicopter tours, dolphin watching, duck boats, haunted house tours, and much more.
The Amenities
The Pelican Palace is fully equipped to be your home-away-from-home. The open kitchen is furnished with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and of course, all you need to enjoy your coffee! Enjoy your meals together around the dining room table that seats 8, or take it to the patio/sitting area for a good old-fashioned picnic in the lush backyard.
After soaking in the sun at the beach, retreat to the game room with full A/C to cool off and have some fun playing games or sit back and relax. This comfy space includes 2 flat screen smart TVs with lots of streaming apps and a cozy sitting area that’s perfect for a family movie night.
Enjoy a cold drink at the bar while you watch your favorite sports or play a game of basketball arcade.
Bedrooms include 2 king bedrooms and one with a triple bunk and 2 full-size beds (for a total of three). Sleep two more on the queen sleeper sofa in the living room. With three full bathrooms, there is plenty of space for everyone to keep up with daily routines and not have to wait in line.

The easily accessible Pelican Palace puts you right in the center of everything. With this coastal retreat being close to the beach, get set up in no time with the provided wagon and everything you need for a day at the beach. The house was perfect for the weekend. Clean, organized and very nicely decorated. Living areas were cozy and the first floor bar area was cool and entertaining. Definitely will reccomend to friends and family and will check availability of the house for our future trips to the island.

Our stay was amazing. The host was so nice and answered my questions very fast. The house looks just like the pictures. We had a group of 14 and it was so much room. The kids loved the game room down stairs. Close to the beach and food places. I also loved the grill outside. We made fajitas. Will definitely stay again.😊

Perfect group house

We enjoyed our stay! We loved the open kitchen to dinning room to living room where we could all hang out together. We also enjoyed hanging out together downstairs when people wanted to sleep upstairs! Two rooms with king beds and a bunk bed room was perfect for our group. Host was prompt and friendly! Instructions were easy and clear. Would love to go back…hopefully soon!

Family get away

This house was just perfect for our family. It had so much space. The closet of games was a blast. We loved the convenience of having so many beach amenities there for our visit. The kitchen was fully stocked which made cooking breakfast easy. We had one issue but the host sayed in constant contact with us to make sure it didn't hamper our stay. All of our beds were so comfortable you just sank into them. We will definitely look into staying here again.

Why they chose this property

Our little family is drawn to the water. We are either wanting to go to the lake or to the beach! The water makes us feel at home. There's something so calming and balancing about the ocean and it was calling us! We viewed this home and fell in love. We have always wanted to live in and decorate a coastal home and this one has more than met those dreams. We hope you will enjoy all of the thought and effort we have put into making this a magical stay for you and your crew.

What makes this property unique

Game Room- One of our favorite things about this home was the vision for the Game Room. Having multiple living and entertaining areas in a vacation home was a must for us. Having a bunch of people in one space can be incredible but also a bit overstimulating for the introverts that want to vacation. Being able to spread out between the upstairs living, downstairs game room, back yard, etc makes the space feel a lot bigger.

Plus, this is a rainproof stay. If you get too hot or the weather changes quickly, you still have plenty of space to enjoy and entertain.

Parking is hard to come by in Galveston, so we love that this home has gated parking. You can feel secure and sleep well, knowing your vehicle is safely tucked away.

Health and Safety are huge concerns of ours so we installed a UV light that sanitizes the air as the AC runs! The humidity is monitored to maintain at an optimal level for clean air and keeping your allergies at bay.
