About this property
Pamela's Paradise! East End Historical Home
WELCOME TO PAMELA’S PARADISE
A spacious Victorian “shotgun” style cottage nestled in the heart of the East End Historical District on Galveston Island. Close to all the action that the island has to offer but in a tranquil setting when relaxation is needed. Spend a day at the beach, an afternoon on the Pleasure Pier and dine/shop on the Strand or downtown, all within a stroll or 5 minute Uber. This location can’t be beat!
Location proximity:
1/2 mile to the Beach/Seawall;
1 mile to downtown Strand;
1.5 miles to the historic Pleasure Pier;
2 miles to the Galveston Ferry;
1/2 mile to Royal Caribbean Cruise Terminal;
1.5 miles to Carnival Cruise Terminal;
6.5 miles to Moody Gardens
About the property:
A cozy coastal bungalow that offers 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths and comfortably sleeps 9. The downstairs has 2 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms while the upstairs features a king en-suite bedroom with 2 connecting sleeping nooks. Perfect for a family getaway. The home is equipped with WiFi and Smart TVs. The kitchen is stocked with all your cooking essentials. Multiple seating and dining areas to relax together or catch the island breeze with an evening cocktail on one of the home’s raised porches or under the courtyard pergola. You are sure to have a true local “Galvestonian” experience.
Parking:
Street parking is available for up to 2 vehicles that can park directly in front of the property for ease of access. We ask that you respectfully not park in front of the neighboring homes.
Things to consider:
The home is well over 100 years old and a 1900 Storm survivor. It has some quirks and character which is what makes it so special. We have updated the essential bathroom and kitchen spaces while preserving the integrity of the historic architectural details. The property is not wheel chair accessible since there are no elevators or ramps to access the home. Stair climbing is required.
Rental additions and restrictions:
Should you have any special requests, a property manager can be reached upon a moment’s notice. Please inquire about our grocery service that can be delivered upon/before your arrival. Pets considered for an additional fee. Baby items available upon request.
No smoking. Quiet hours 10pm-7am. No parties/events. 2-night minimum stay.
