Welcome to Donna’s Charm. We are happy to share our recently renovated house with you. Everything is new and inviting, Donna’s Charm is a 3 bedroom, 2 full baths vacation home, located in Daphne’s Lake Forest Community. This house can sleep 6-8 adults and up to 4 children. The house is located in a peaceful, quiet, hills and valleys, family friendly neighborhood, close to I10, Mobile Bay, Spanish Fort and Fairhope; 40 miles away from Orange and Gulf Shore Beaches and only 10 miles from the Spanish Fort- USS Alabama Battleship Park. While staying here please enjoy our amazing community pools, marina, tennis and golf courses and miles of beautiful walking trails.

We were close to family that lives in Daphne and were able to take a short drive to spend time with them and come home to a comfortable and cozy bed and home. The grill and back deck were so nice. Great place!

Great location

We were in town for the Mardi Gras parades and this was a perfect place to stay for the weekend. The location is very close to the Daphne parade route and just a quick drive to Fairhope and Mobile. The house was nice with comfortable beds and we loved that the kids each had their own bedroom.

Donna’s Charm was the perfect spot for our stay. Great location close to Daphne Sports Complex, many restaurants, minutes from Walmart and other stores. The home has everything you need from washer/dryer to high chair and BBQ pit. We weren’t used to the hilly, curvy roads and a steep driveway, but we got used to it throughout our stay. Would book again!

Truly charming

We liked the house but it definitely needed a deep clean. Rugs were dirty, with hair on them. Hair all over the bathroom. Crumbs on counters and beside the stove. All baseboards and surfaces were dirty. Lots of food and personal items left in cabinets.

Great place for a family vacation

Very spacious - there were 7 of us and we had plenty of room so people could do what they wanted. The kitchen was large enough for a couple of people to get in there to prepare group meals. Nice grill on the back patio, which we definitely took advantage of! Plenty of beach towels for pool or beach. And there were beach chairs, pails, and an umbrella available for a day trip to the gulf.

Just like home

Home is perfect location in a quiet older neighborhood with lots of families and all well kept. House equipped with everything we needed, fully functional kitchen/bath, comfy beds, and easy in/out. Host very accommodating. Only suggestion would be fans in upstairs bedrooms as it does get warm up there, but otherwise everything was perfect, just like we were in our own home!

The property is located in a very nice and safe neighborhood near Mobile. Clean and well appointed, it should nicely meet the needs of a family or a small group of friends. The owner was great when it came to communicating with us. Our group all would recommend this property is it worked out great for us. It was nice and central to Mobile and the Gulf Shore golf courses we played. Thanks to our host.

Cozy place that feels like home!

What a great home in Daphne! I grew up in Daphne and visit yearly to see my parents. This was my first time we stayed in a vrbo home in the area and it was the best decision. The home was clean, very well stocked and just felt cozy and warm! It is so close to everything. Plenty of food options within 5-10 minutes. Plenty of shopping within 5-10 minutes. Daphne has grown so much over the years and there is every major store and/or restaurant within minutes as well as local places you can’t find anywhere else! Check in was easy and simple and we had everything we needed. We will always stay here when visiting!

Perfect place for our 5 night stay!

Donna’s Charm was very clean, spacious and in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. The listing was accurate. All the linens and towels appeared new. We were in town for a family event and it fully met our needs. We did not use the community pool or golf. Donna’s house instructions were very clear. Very pleased.

Conference/family trip

Walking in seeing the scripture on the walls, I felt like this was going to be the perfect little place. And it was! I loved the quiet, peaceful home feel it had. Would recommend this house to anyone. If I come this way again, I am going to be looking for this same place! It’s beautiful and the owner is prompt and friendly when she gets back to you. Lake Forest ….a nice community

Lake Forest is a large community near Daphne,Al that almost has it all(no beach) 😂 However it has a golf course,horse riding stables,a number of community pools and a busy community center. Lots to see and do. We were able to rent a nice 3 bedroom , 2 bath home in the community. There were a couple of minor issues that have been addressed with the owner,but overall,a great base of operations for someone want to experience the Gulf Coast.

Gardner family wedding

We loved the neighborhood very much, never made it to the pool and that was ok. We had some issues but not important to us. 1. Water dispenser on fridge door was not working properly. 2. Bedroom upstairs to left of stairs has water damage at ceiling AC vent. 3. Upstairs bathroom in tub/shower, the fixture is not stable in the wall, so you need to be carful turning on and off. 4. The grill outback was so rusty we did not fill safe using. The location to the wedding as well as restaurants was great. All and all it was very nice and we enjoyed the time we had.
