Great spot. Right on the river. Near West Yellowstone.
Saw a moose crossing the river right behind us while it was snowing (Late June). Note that the road to the cabin is rough gravel/dirt and full of potholes. Also only 1 bedroom has a door, rest of the cabin is open. Great spot, would recommend.
This property is quiet, stocked, updated and clean. Great location for area sights. There were great places to eat within a short distance. The only thing that could have been better was the drive getting back to the cabin. There was some maintenance that needed done, otherwise a fantastic stay.
This rental offered spectacular views and access to the Henry River. Location was convenient to activities and services in the Island Park area - with access to the Henry River right out the back door!

When you pull up to house, it's rough looking. Grass is not maintained. You walk inside cabin and it looks aestically really nice. Beware if you are 6'2 or taller as you will have to duck to go under beams in livingroom and in and out doors. My husband is 6'3 and smacked his head. That was a great start. I booked this house for the view, and hot tub. The view is really cool except the windows were so dirty I had to go outside and clean them so we could see the beautiful view we paid for. There is a hot tub that you can smell as soon as you walk outside. The water should not smell moldy and it should not foam up instantly when jets are turned on. The water has way to many chemicals in it. I asked caretakers to exchange the water and they would not reply. Its like 30-40 bucks to change the water. The cleaning fees should cover this for sure. The grill is available for use but its so dirty there's no way you would want to use it or should use it. Thats a fire waiting to happen. It also sits in the long dry grass. The grates are so full of thick black leftovers from it never ever being cleaned. The gas tank was full but you will need a paper towel to turn on due to all the grease dripping onto it. The kitchen was well equipped with basic needs. They had salt and pepper, coffee maker, and brown ice for your drinks in freezer. When doing dishes prepare for brown water. Brown water showers, sink water and toliet water. Oh and they do have a washer and dry that turns your clothes br
Gorgeous cabin on the river! This place was incredible. The history of the cabin and Targhee Row was really interesting to read about - the owners left a handbook entailing the stories of the families who have lived on the Row for many years.
The place was clean and the amenities were great. The hot tub was fantastic on cool evenings. We even got to see the aurora borealis from the back porch on May 10th - it was intensely beautiful.
Loved our stay at this cute little cabin! It has been cleaned up and has such a vibe! The windows are beautiful and have the perfect view. The hot tub is just an extra perk!
The location of this cabin, right on the river, is wonderful. We made a fire in the fire oit every morning and drank coffee. We sat in the hot tub every night. The drive to Yellowstone each day was quick and easy.
The windows in this place make this cabin the perfect place on the river. There were 4 of us staying and we had plenty of room. We saw great wildlife while we were there and got to enjoy a snow storm on the day we were checking out. What a great place! We would love to stay again!

From the view of the eagle's nest to watching the pelicans fishing in the river, this is a birdwatcher's paradise. Slow current allowed us to paddle around in the river, without working too hard to get back to the dock. Shallow and kid friendly river area.
Hot tub with a great view, back porch with a great view - even while at at BBQ Grill I enjoyed the view. Just lovely. My favorite part was the quiet, peaceful evenings watching the river flow by from the back deck.
Thank you for a great stay!
Thank you so much for providing such a lovely relaxing retreat! We visited YNP 3 days in a row, and each day we returned to a well deserved (and appreciated) spa. Such a lovely and quiet getaway! I confess that I broke one of your mugs, and now there are 4. I am so sorry 😢. We did leave a full jug of laundry detergent in exchange! This is a great place to listen to the elks calling and watch the snow geese at dawn. Laurie & Elliott
Loved just about everything about our stay! The cabin is very cute and cozy, the owner has put in a lot of nice touches such as a well stocked kitchen with supplies, nice countertops in kitchen and bathroom, and super comfortable outside furniture! You CANNOT beat the view or proximity to the river- we loved taking 10 steps and being able to be fly fishing! The only things that limited us was that the hot tub was not functioning and we never received a heads up about that which was disappointing. Definitely would stay again!
The cabin is as advertised. 30 minutes from the entrance to Yellowstone and a great view of a flowing river. The new updates to the cabin are nice and the owner appears to be making additional upgrades. New outdoor furniture and fire pit were delivered during our stay. This is perfect for small groups of friends or a family.
We left this morning after spending 5 days in this cabin. It was perfect for our family of 4! Cabin is fully stocked with everything we needed and decorated very cute! We used this location as our base for our Yellowstone adventure. It’s about a 30 min drive to the west Yellowstone entrance. One day we even ventured into the Tetons and Jackson WY which was a little over 2 hours away. We loved having our dinners on the picnic table on the patio next to the river. We saw multiple Bald Eagles and a Mule Deer down with her fawns. My son and husband enjoyed fishing in the river while my daughter and I watched from the hot tub. We enjoyed our stay here so much and would definitely stay again!
The local caretakers were very responsive to our questions and helped is out regularly. The property is as advertised. The hot tub was wonderful in the winter. The snow banks are a bit high for viewing the river while seated inside but you can still see it standing. The cabin heated well for how cold it got outside. We could have handled a few more coat hooks (but that could be a winter specific need). With the way it’s laid out is more a giant studio cabin than separate rooms. But as we were all family it was fine.

Be careful what you drive
The driveway had massive potholes that required a 4WD truck. The water is so incredibly hard it was cloudy. We had to buy drinking water. Water pressure was inconsistent so showers had to be planned/alternated with dishwashing.
Overpriced
Beautiful cabin on the Henry River. We heard elk every night after the sun was down. A family of geese would fly in every night at sundown and stay in the shallow part of the river. Pretty cool! Just down the road is a nice Mexican restaurant, fire cooked pizza and icecream shop plus a small gas station. Your only 38 min from w yellowstone entrance. The cabin has huge windows facing the river. I would highly recommend this one 👌
Our family is recovery from a significant loss and felt a need to change the scenery for a couple days! This property was perfect. Our hope was to snuggle in close, sit in a hot tub, enjoy the quiet, take in nature, watch movies late in the night, and sleep until the sun woke us up. A moose walked right up to the house, we watched the mom and baby eat from the river and a bald eagle catch a fish and have a snack. The cabin had everything we needed. It was comfy and well supplied. It was a great way to begin making new memories.
Overall, the cabin is a really nice place to stay and looks just like the pictures. View is wonderful, good location, and hot tub is an amazing bonus! I did not realize there was not an oven and unfortunately the grill didn't work when we arrived, but we were able to make due with the stove top and griddle. I would recommend putting a small table in the bathroom to set stuff on and a small night table by the bed. The firepit outside didn't have a gas tank, so that was a bummer, and it would be a good idea to have mouse traps at the property as we had a little visitor. This is NOT to deter other guests, it is a cabin, it happens. Other than that, very enjoyable stay and we liked it a lot.
Not worth the money. We could never get the heat to kick on higher than 64. The property manager reached out to the property owner with no luck. She was great and brought a space heater. If you stayed in the room with the space heater you stayed warm, otherwise the cabin was cold! With the amount of money we spent you would expect to stay warm, especially when the outside temperature got above 30.

Cozy Cabin but needs improvement
Cabin was spotless inside upon arrival and had plenty of towels, kitchen supplies, etc. Being right on river was nice- saw elk and Bald Eagles. Hot tub was great.
Grass/weeds were all grown up on arrival-over our waist and mosquitoes everywhere. Ashley the property manager promptly replied and had it weedeated so we could get to the river. The outside of the property is just not very nice w a dilapidated cabin next door and cinder blocks and orange tape separating the two.
Inside - needs more lamps. There’s one for the entire cabin so it’s either total darkness or bright lights at night. Also- cabin needs a water filter- besides it being too yuck to drink it left our hair feeling dirty/greasy. We live out in the country and know about yucky water- a filter fixes all that.
Would not stay here again- being out away from people/town was nice but the cabin and property were overall a disappointment based on the pictures on the listing.
