Property was exactly as shown in the pictures. It was extremely clean. Kitchen was well stocked as was the whole place. Beds were very comfortable. Loved that there were warm soft blankets to use while sitting on the comfortable living room furniture. Harold & Ida were friendly & welcoming. They were lovely to talk to & gave us many tips about things to do in Fairbanks. Outside area was well kept & a great place to hang out. A beautiful overall rental. I highly recommend.

The property was nicely appointed and quiet, perfect for our needs. The hosts were welcoming without being intrusive, even leaving us a delicious peanut butter pie to help us celebrate our son's graduation. The location was convenient and we greatly enjoyed our stay.
Great place close to town and exactly what you would want from a vrbo listing. Enjoyable stay and friendly hosts just above your apartment for easy communication
Greatest place to stay in Fairbanks. So comfortable, modern, well maintained and cool during a hot summer! The hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and gracious. Amazing experience and two wonderful hosts made this everything VRBO aspires to be. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Wonderful stay during June. Unit is as described and pictured. Hosts are available for any needs. Overall fabulous experience, would definitely stay here again!
I have stayed at many VRBO’s in the last 5 years, but none as Clean and well stocked as Harold’s and Ida’s! There was even a Sharpie in the kitchen drawer! Everything was perfect! When staying in Fairbanks, this is the place you will want to lay your head down at night.

It was a great stay. Would have stayed a third day if I knew it was available in advance. Harold was a great host and helpful with the timing of the aurora. I did feel like the fees were a little steep.
We loved this apartment. Super clean, comfy bed, great location close to friends and everything we needed to cook a meal. Well stocked with paper goods, coffee, tea, towels, etc, we did not want for anything. Ida even left us a homemade peanut butter/chocolate pie in the freezer!
Harold and Ida were a joy to meet and kept an open-door policy. We will not hesitate to revisit this lovely apartment if they will have us back. Thank you, Ida & Harold, for a delightful stay.
This property is exactly as it appears on the vrbo site . Clean and comfortable and well supplied with what ever you need.. Th hosts Harold and Ida we so nice not in your business at all very welcoming beautiful landscaped yard to enjoy with private bbque area and the best peanut butter pie you will ever eat to welcome us.. Harold is a BBque champion had his own restaurant in Fairbanks we ate there it was delicious and Ida loves to keep her yard looking amazing… I highly recommend the property for your stay in Fairbanks .
My stay in your beautiful home was beyond outstanding! Your hospitality and many kindnesses extended beyond my expectations. You deserve 10 stars! The tours of Fairbanks coupled with the historic details; provided me with a depth of knowledge and interest that encourages me to return here and to visit all of Alaska. Thank you so much.
My friend and I stayed several nights at Ida and Harold's VRBO. We can't say enough about how enjoyable our visit was! It was a very clean, spacious space, with wonderfully comfortable beds. There was everything needed to make it a fabulous stay, plus more, like a homemade peanut butter chocolate pie in the freezer! Ida drove us to Creamer's Field one morning, and another day gave us a driving tour of Fairbanks. The bus stop was an easy walk, and buses are free for seniors! There is access to their laundry, and an outdoor space which is lovely. Will definitely return if we visit Fairbanks again. Highly recommend!
Enjoyed our stay. I was in Fairbanks visiting family for a few days and the unit had everything needed for a very comfortable stay. There was even a chocolate peanut butter pie waiting for us on our arrival! Lots of attention to detail to make our stay comfortable, warm, and inviting. I will definitely stay here again.
Harold and Ida have a great place and are wonderful hosts. We really appreciated the special touches and the nice extras that made the home so comfortable for us!
From the moment of our arrival we felt welcome and at home. Ida was a delight and had made a wonderful pie that was absolutely delicious. She was very kind and helpful. The home had everything that we needed and more. We are blessed to have had a chance to stay here and get to know the owners. We would definitely recommend this home and we hope to visit here again. We loved our stay at Harold and Ida's place in Fairbanks. The location was easy to access and near to the major warehouse stores for supplies. Access was easy and private. The house was quiet, lovely, and spacious. The amenities provided everything we needed and some extras we did not expect but were delighted to find. WiFi was a bit spotty but we were always able to connect one or more devices.
This is a property we would definitely stay at again, and we have already recommended it to friends!
My husband, adult son and I stayed at Harold and Ida's home away from home. We were greeted by our hosts with a yummy pie which was a pleasant surprise after a long trip from the East. The outside deck and grill was handy for hanging out and cooking lunch/dinner and the yard is immaculate with lovely gardens all around which, as a gardener myself, thoroughly enjoyed. The property even had an office center with printer and all supplies needed for any work that needed to be done. Internet access was good as well. We are planning a trip back to Fairbanks in the near future and will be checking in with Ida and Harold for availability of their lovely home. Thank you for all you did to make our vacation amazing!
