Check in was very easy as we were provided a unique code before arrival. The house was very clean and comfortable. The place was situated on a quiet road so there wasn't noisy neighbors around to disturb the peace.

Very nice home away from home

Very nice home away from home. The host Karry, made sure we had some snacks upon arrival. She was very sweet and did her best to ensure that we had everything that we needed. We will go back on our next family trip to the Hammond/Ponchatoula area. The home was very clean, which is very important to our family.

Our family of six adults and a two year old had plenty of space to spread out. The house was stocked with plenty of towels and kitchen needs and the beds were comfortable. The location was quiet and easy to get to Ponchatoula and surrounding areas.

My sons wedding was in Ponchatoula and I had family coming in from out of town. The property was easy to find, lots of space, and plenty of parking. Host is wonderful! Communication was easy, I requested A LOT and she made it work! I highly recommend!

Exactly what we were hoping for

This is such a great home for what we wanted in our stay. I have family that lives close by and we were in town for a funeral so we chose this home because it was close to family and looked nice. It lived up to the pictures and was actually a lot more comfortable than was expected. The open living area was perfect for our family to hand out and spend quality time. The kids loved playing in the large front yard as well. I highly recommend this home!

Adult Sibling Reunion

Perfect house for 6-8 adults. All bedrooms have king beds. House is exactly as pictured. No surprises!! Plenty of towels in bathrooms. Kitchen stocked with all equipment needed. When we stayed, there was a couch in bedroom next to living room. Only suggestion I could make is move that couch to living room so there is more room for all to gather in living room. That’s it!!! Was a GREAT house and would visit again!!

The only thing I would suggest, is the ice maker on the counter need to be cleaned really well. It

Great Place!

The home was very clean and well maintained. Communication with the hosts was easy and clear. With 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it was great for my husband and I, and our 2 daughters with their spouses. There was a large table to accommodate, but we did not have any meals there. I might recommend a little more 'living room furniture' for comfy seating while watching tv together. The two sofas are not necessarily convenient for 6 adults. The beds were very comfortable and the ceiling fans were great for individual room temperatures. It seemed a bit remote, but I think that most places in that area might feel that way. It was actually a VERY convenient location for the wedding that we were attending in Ponchatoula. All amenities were within a 15 minute drive. Would stay here again.

To say this was a perfect rental is a real understatement. Our host has thought of everything and the minute I looked for something like a throw blanket, I found a cubby with three different ones of differing weight! We cooked and baked, and found the kitchen fully appointed with very nice gear. The yard is huge and we enjoyed being so close to quaint restaurants and antique shops. I will rent this house again.
