Granddaughter Graduation

Family of 7 came for high school graduation. The cottage was very nice and the hosts were excellent. Beautiful property. We were pretty busy but we did make some time for just a little fishing. The kitchen had anything we needed. We would definitely come back.

We are retired and live just a few doors away. We love to walk every day and enjoy the beautiful river front along water street. We are here to answer your questions and can even provide a boat tour of the beautiful Tchefuncte River and Louisiana bayous.

Why they chose this property

The Madisonville museum is just two doors away where you must hear the story of the rooster that was put on trial. You can’t make this stuff up. You are walking distance to the beautiful water street along the river and many awesome restaurants and Maritime Museum. Recently renovated in 2022. Private canal with 2 decks behind the home for your use. We offer private river, lake and swamp tours in two different styles. 40 foot yatch or 20 foot SeaRay. Call for pricing and details.

It has a private 500 foot long canal in the back yard that leads into Bayou DeZaire. We have a 28 foot rope swing into the Bayou and canoes for your enjoyment. We also offer fishing or River, Lake and Swamp tours in 3 different styles; 40’ Yatch, 20 foot Sea Ray and 16’ John Boat. Call about details and pricing.
