This property was very comfortable and homey. From the moment I walked in the door I new this was the perfect place to just relax and unwind. Nicely decorated and extremely clean. Allison was the perfect host answering any questions that came up. And even know she lives on the property, we didn’t even know she was there. I would highly recommend this property.
Well kept, nice views, wildlife sightings enlivened our stay, kitchen very adequate, bathrooms fine. One comment:As a senior I look for grab bars in bathrooms. I think they could be easily installed. The kids enjoyed the hiking trail around the pasture and the fun game of toss and catch the ring in the TV room.
We had a great stay at the Farmhouse. Our extended family were in town for a wedding celebration around the corner from the Farmhouse, so location was ideal. Allison was responsive, and helpful in allowing us a slightly earlier check-in before we attended the welcome dinner. The house is absolutely gorgeous, beautifully renovated and updated, while retaining the historic charm. We had 8 people (including an infant) and there was plenty of space. The grounds are beautiful and serene, and our son's dog loved his walks through the meadow. The only downside was that it was very hot and humid while we were there, and there is no air conditioning. Sleeping upstairs was tough. But we would highly recommend this for a group looking to a peaceful stay, with lots to do close by! Thank you, Allison, for making it possible!
