Sweet cabin

This cabin was just what the doctor ordered for us. Very peaceful and so much detail! Very cute and clean. The host(s) really made sure to make us feel comfortable with all the extra added touches. We definitely will add this sweet cabin to our favorites

Cabin was nice , the ac was ice cold . Lake was a short walk. Swimming beach is 10 minutes down the road. My wife and daughter misplaced some swimsuits, the owner messaged me and made them available for me, I would definitely recommend.

Relaxing time

Stayed during my kiddo's spring break. Relaxing time. Went to Doe Valley recreation center and rented a side by side. Got muddy and tired! Fun time.

Overall good, but was unaware of location surroundings. Property does sit on Watuaga lake, however you are unable to see the lake from the property.

Lovely screened in porch

We enjoyed the beautiful, well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and living room. Our favorite part was the wonderful screened in porch with bed swing and chairs to relax. The outside picnic table and fire pit area looked nice, but we were unable to enjoy it because of the rain. It would be helpful to know that the marina is on a highway that has been washed out by the recent Hurricane Helene and has a road closed sign. You can go around it and the road is accessible to the marina. There's also a fisherman's cabin nearby that was damaged by a tree that makes the dirt road to the cabin narrower. Also, be prepared for possible loud partying from boats and neighbors in the area.

Trailer home view blocked lake view :-(

Except for the view of trailers which wasn’t listed, it was ok. I would not have rented if I seen the proper view.

There were a couple of issues. The master bed needs a new mattress, a bit uncomfortable. There was no room to park a boat

Why they chose this property

Butler has become home for us and we absolutely love the mountains and the lake. Wautaga lake is the 3rd cleanest lake in the US and only 40% of the sore line is occupied. Love the beauty and all the outdoor adventure the area has to offer!
