Bowman island Stay

View of the Ocean is spectacular nice getaway place to totally relax. Be aware if you have any physical disabilities that the drive way is very steep to get to the vacation home and parking is only available up the driveway on the road

Great place for a Bowen getaway

Ocean view from the window was stunning. Place was spacious and clean. Close enough to the bus stop and a beach if you want to explore Bowen, but also great for a staycation. (there is a smart TV, cards, boardgames, and a good WiFi connection).

A Perfect Solo Retreat

If you are looking for some quiet place to enjoy by yourself or with a partner, look no further! This hidden gem is tugged away from the busy sailing hub but it’s less than 5 mins away if you need to some basic necessities. I felt very safe on my own staying at this property. The view is amazing and the rooms are spacious. I will visit again for sure. Had a lovely memory here watching the sunrise and sunrise while listening to soothing ocean waves.

My only issue was that the power went out on our last night and there was no emergency lighting - flashlight or matches and candles. We had to leave early.

Pleasant getaway

My partner and I spent a night at this cozy suite. The views were beautiful and serene. There is a creek outside the bedroom window that added an extra touch of relaxation. It was clean and had all the kitchen and bathroom basics. Communication with the owner was good. We wish stayed longer!

Clean and new

The suite was in great condition, clean and modern. Access is down a steep driveway and you must walk a little ways down. Could be challenging for those with mobility limitations. Also very dark. There was a full kitchen but no cutlery - literally a single spoon. We thankfully did not cook, but would have been very inconvenient. Otherwise, nice view and would stay again. Enjoyed watching the ferries go by.

View was serene. It was newly renovated with modern look, but insulation was poor. Someone is living upstairs and you hear a lot of noise and movement coming from there.

Pure magic

This place is stunning!! You cannot beat it! Do not hesitate just because this place doesn’t have a lot of reviews, I couldn’t be happier with our stay my only regret is that I didn’t lengthen my stay there and shorten my stay in Vancouver. Hosts were amazing to deal with, super quick to respond with my couple of worries to do with what’s below. Just as a note anyone (like I was) whom may be a bit panicked as I know I was (being scammed b4) because VRBO has a different process than other rental platforms for confirmation purposes. And if VRBO reads these comments, not getting any confirmation of stay, and not getting any info on stay until day of is a bit worrisome for the consumer. So don’t fret all is good future renters..this place will knock your socks off! Thank you, we will be back ❤️❤️

Relaxing Getaway

Overall our stay was awesome! My husband and I needed a quiet place to relax and this little place was just the ticket! Breathtaking view through the floor to ceiling windows! That's what sold us on this place. It was a great spot to sit and watch the sunrise, read a good book and soak in the relaxing atmosphere. The place is clean, spacious bedroom and bathroom. It is a short 5 min drive to Snug Harbour. We explored the island but were always happy to return. However, there were some things that I would like to address. The address on the app is incorrect and leads you to the neighbour's place. I would have liked 2 face cloths and access to more pillows. I would have also like contacting the owner through the app on my phone. There was a bit of confusion until I was able to access my messages on my laptop. Otherwise, clear communication, European clean and thoughtfully decorated. We are definitely coming again!!!
