Get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life and visit this amazing Lake Norman lake front property. In October of 2022, we completed a 2 year renovation of the entire property. Walking distance from Stutts Marina, the property itself includes enough amenities to make you never want to leave. Looking out from the back deck, the hot tub has incredible panoramic view of the Lake Norman shoreline. The property includes four bedrooms (2) King, (1) Queen, (4) Full and (3) full bathrooms. The plentiful parking spaces in the front driveway, brand new washer and dryer set, two gourmet grilles and the best fire pit for s'mores making is just the tip of the iceberg. There are plenty of entertainment options for all your friends and family including (5) Television Flatscreens between 55” and 80”, a regulation ping pong table set, great tanning lounge chairs, a double story dock, Electric bikes for rent, as well as easy access stone steps to swimming. You may choose to bring your own boat or you can contact the owner and we can arrange for you to rent from the marina or rent the property's 22-foot crown-line speedboat. Adding a boat provides you the access to many lakefront restaurants, bars, grills and music oriented spots around Mooresville and the 500 mile stretch of Lake Norman.

Beautiful house on the lake

We absolutely loved the house - it is so nice inside and out. More importantly, Greg was a great communicator and went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I can't recommend this place enough!

This was our first trip to Lake Norman but hopefully won’t be our last! We can’t say enough good things about this property. It was so family friendly and the lake is just beautiful. The bunk bed room was a huge hit, the ping pong table provided lots of fun and our kids loved learning to paddleboard and jump off of the 2 story dock. The host was so communicative and responsive before and during our stay. Our family had the best time at this wonderful property!

Lakefront Luxury

Hands down best VRBO property (and host...thanks Greg) that we have ever rented! From the amazing view to the immaculate home, this is one we will remember and vacation at again.

All of the comments are right! Immaculately renovated lake house that feels like a home, not a rental spot. And sometimes, that comment means the space is filled with (potentially unwelcome) personal effects, but that is NOT the case here. It somehow manages to feel both impeccably designed and clean like a well-cared for rental, yet simultaneously very warm and comfy. Plenty of space for our 3 families (10 in all). TVs in every bedroom and two huge sectionals (living area and in the bunkroom, which fits BOTH a sectional and a ping pong table.) Also, if you are wondering about the additional outbuilding that can be seen in photos but is not mentioned in the listing, it is a private boathouse not rented and not occupied during rentals. But that's no matter, there's plenty of space without it. Also, the owners left tons of drinks and snacks, which were super helpful!

Wonderful host, wonderful family stay on the lake

The house is beautiful and was perfect for our family, but what made this vacation so terrific was the host. Greg and his family answered every question we had and checked in on us to make sure we were happy. From one family to another, it was a wonderful gift! This rental isn’t a “party” house; it is a family vacation home and we absolutely felt that. We loved every minute of our stay. Sunrise on the lake was beautiful. Family dinners and movie nights brought us together. We’ll be back!

EVERYTHING imaginable was fabulous! Greg is an impeccable host! Convenience Comfort Calmness

The openness of the main entertainment, food prep and relaxation areas is absolutely MAX. Five Star everything. Nearby restaurants (most all deliver) have really yummy food. Would highly recommend Mi Amiche if you love Italian food - - - amazing. You will not be disappointed after staying here.

The best Lake Norman vacation!

Everything about our stay was top notch, the house is beautiful and perfect for a family stay. The location is perfect, close to a marina, stores and shops and a skip to Charlotte if you need some city! But all this was outshone by our host! Greg made us feel so welcome. We will be back!!

Gorgeous home/Great Host

Greg’s welcoming demeanor and transparency made us feel right at home. The cozy ambiance of his place was enhanced by his graciousness in allowing us to bring in a small Christmas tree, creating a festive and homely atmosphere for our family celebration. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Great week at the lake!

We had a wonderful week at Gregory’s house on Lake Norman! It was the perfect spot for my husband, me, and our five adult children to spend time together.The house was very comfortable. All the beds, even in the bunk room, were cozy. There was plenty of seating in the family area, plus two large dining tables for meals. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for the whole family.Even though it rained most of the week, we still had a great time. The dock was perfect for fishing and swimming, and we loved using the fire pit and hot tub. The neighborhood is quiet and pretty, with lots of great restaurants nearby.Gregory was a fantastic host! He checked in with us several times, gave great restaurant recommendations, and even left us some fun treats — including something for the dog.We would definitely come back. Five stars all the way!

Amazing Property & Host!

We had the perfect Labor Day weekend at this beautiful lakefront home. The house is incredible - modern, well designed & absolutely gorgeous. We loved the hot tub, gas fire pit, indoor & outdoor TVs & ping pong table! The bunk room is so cute & could sleep lots of kids. Greg was the perfect host - wonderful communication, very accommodating & super helpful! We can't wait to return to this amazing property!!

Great House for Families!

Beautiful home with so much space, amenities, beds, lake, fire pit, deck with hot tub, 4 vehicle parking, etc. Our son was getting married and the host was awesome! He had great communication and was so thoughtful. He had us stocked with essential pantry items, a flat of water in fridge, coffee and fresh flowers, etc. Our family highly recommends this property and hopefully will be back to enjoy the lake and vacation!!

Stunning property

The property is stunning. Every detail is of top notch quality, aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. Layout for groups and gatherings is wonderful. Plenty to do at the house from the hot tub, ping pong table, lake, fishing, sun deck, fire pit, boating…etc. It was one of my favorite vacations ever. Greg is an excellent host. He communicates quickly and kindly. Highly recommend renting here.

Better than Five Stars

Luxurious amenities and thoughtful touches like vases filled with fresh flowers, a bottle of red & white wine, and ingredients for s’mores made our stay special. The real differentiator though was our host, Greg! He was a fabulous communicator and anticipated any needs we might have during our stay. It was clear from our first interaction with him that he and his wife decided to share their beautiful retreat so others could experience the same joy & relaxation that it brings their family. Our party consisted of 3 couples- our daughter and her husband, his parents from Los Angeles, and ourselves. While we’ve stayed in quite a few vrbos, the CA couple were new to the experience. We told them their time at Lake Norman with Greg wouldn’t be topped anytime soon!

Amazing!!

Greg is the BEST!! This property is even more beautiful in person. It was perfect for our large family with adults and kids ranging from 1 to 72. Everyone had a great time swimming, playing in the huge yard, playing ping pong, and relaxing in the hot tub. We were able to bring our boat to the dock and had so much fun during the stay. (The house is very close to cocktail cove so it was an easy boat ride to a good hangout spot!) Greg was BEYOND accommodating, left welcome flowers and treats and was flexible as our plans changed throughout the stay. The house is so beautiful, even on rainy days it was a treat to sit inside and look at the water. There were so many little touches in the house that made it great. My family will definitely be staying here next time everyone was in town. Don't pass this up!

Amazing Stay! Elegant Southern Hospitality!

We rented this property for a winter wedding weekend in Charlotte. Greg made the entire experience so easy for us. No question this was the best and most gracious host we’ve ever had and the property was even better than it looked online. The property was perfectly maintained, it had everything we needed and more. Greg even left ingredients for s’mores for the kids and other special treats that our kids loved! He asked if we needed anything upon arrival and even had some local beer and a bottle of wine for us to enjoy; what a great way to start the trip! The view of the lake was incredible, the house perfectly positioned to take it in. The dock and hot tub were favorites for the kids. I can go on and on. We have stayed at many properties but this was the most personalized stay we’ve had. Definitely plan to stay here if you’re wanting to be in the area or on the lake!

Amazing host, fabulous house, perfect location

Amazing host - Greg went out of his way to make us feel welcomes and pampered to be honest, to the point of making sure there were some cold beverages in the fridge on arrival! He was great to chat with and very knowledgeable of the area. Having rented a bunch of rental houses - I can honestly say Greg is the best host we have had the pleasure of dealing with! House - quite honestly, fabulous usable spaces. The house is completely redone and has a ton of amenities. First and foremost, gorgeous views of the lake from the kitchen/dining room/patio -- wonderful for a morning cup of coffee or afternoon beverage. Great "common" areas - one huge couch/living area and another sitting area with 4 chairs which was nice to facilitate conversation. Kitchen is well-equipped also. Regarding bedrooms - on one side of the house is 3 rooms - master with bathroom and two other rooms with shared bathroom. On the other side is a bunk room with 4 bunks (doubles, not twin) and a huge couch/tv where the teens hung out (also has it's own bathroom). Lakefront - great dock and area to swim - kids loved jumping off the double decker dock! Adults did that once too... Location - perfectly situated on the lake (near the marina) with places to waterski/tube/kneeboard. On the land side - lots of grocery stores and restaurants an easy 10 min away. Costco is 12-15 min away. Try Whit's frozen custard - best "ice cream" around!

Best VRBO Experience

Staying at this property will be really hard to beat for our group when staying at another VRBO. We traveled from Tampa with another family to spend the 4th of July here. Upon arrival we were greeted by an extremely well kept property. The open floor plan allowed for comfortable space between 8 of us over the course of a week. We were able to have some friends and family visit during the week, and never felt crowded. The bedrooms are conveniently located in the rear of the house and completely updated. The mattresses were all commented on by all guests, as “perfect.” The bunk/game/extra tv/bar room was smartly done, and allowed for the kids to feel like they had their own space during our stay. As good as the inside was, the outside was better. Massive deck with plenty of space, clean hot tub, new grill, plus an additional covered outdoor area w/tv. The yard is expansive and well kept and the landscaping ties nicely into a gas fire pit area (for s’mores) and 2 story boat dock. The dock area has a huge elevated porch to watch lake activities, sun rise/sets, quick jumps into the lake, but also an optional speed boat to rent. Highly suggest taking advantage of this option vs. the marina. Lastly, the owner (Greg) was amazing. He not only answered many questions for us before our trip he went above and beyond to provide direction or supplies. Every request we made he had a solution. We had a lot of requests! Greg even met us upon arrival. He is absolutely the best VRBO host!

NOTHING LESS THAN A GEM

Our recent stay at this VRBO property was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, everything about this rental exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail and the thoughtful gestures by Greg the owner made our experience truly unforgettable. First and foremost, the communication with the host was exceptional. He was prompt, extremely friendly, and incredibly helpful. Any questions or concerns we had were addressed promptly, making us feel valued and well taken care of even before our arrival. Upon entering the property, we were blown away by its immaculate cleanliness. It was evident that Greg places a great deal of effort into maintaining a pristine environment. Not even family goes above and beyond the way Greg did. The attention to cleanliness, home decor, outdoor decks, fully stocked kitchen and stunning fire pit provided us with an incredible feeling and allowed us to fully enjoy our stay. Furthermore, the thoughtful touches and amenities provided by Greg truly made us feel welcome. From the bottles of wine left for us to enjoy to the abundance of towels and toiletries available, we felt like every detail had been carefully considered. It's these small gestures that go above and beyond that truly set this VRBO apart from others. The house itself was so beautiful that we strongly believe it should be showcased in a Home and Garden Magazine. Hello, my name is Greg and I'm the proud owner of this lakefront home. At the beginning of Covid (May of 2020), we rented a home in Lake Norman for the first time and loved it. We decided to pursue purchasing a Lake house for a project during Covid. This house was not that aesthetically desirable but we loved the lot and saw the potential. This 70's ranch had a two car garage that we converted into a (4) bed bunk room, a screened in porch converted into heated square feet, a new HVAC, Plumbing, and Electric System, New Roof, Kitchen, Bathrooms, and a small fortune spent on the outside landscaping and hardscape. The crown jewel of the property might me the double decker dock. You will also notice a boat house on the property that we do not rent and do not occupy while families stay at our property. However, it adds to the beauty of the overall property. We paid attention to detail and the finishes are extremely custom. The beds are extremely comfortable and the linens are luxury hotel quality. We appreciate your interest and if you want a luxury home to stay in and not a rental, this is your place.
