This is a great place to stay! Very private and a perfect location. Short drive to downtown and close by restaurants and stores. The place was clean and the host was great to work with. I would definitely recommend!
House is very nice, clean and in good repair. Setting nice and quiet and convenient. Only area of dissatisfaction was the mattress - old and sagging - we had 4 nights of poor sleep as a consequence. Also, listing showed "coffee maker" when it had a Keurig so we arrived with the wrong stuff. Otherwise a perfect place for the two of us.
The place was excellent ,clean and just as they described the owner was very fast to respond to the wifi problem and solved the issue we look forward to staying there again 5 stars aren't enough we'd give it a 10
The house was exactly what we expected. Super clean and great location. Peter was an amazing host and reached out to ensure we had everything we needed. Will definitely be booking again
This was a nice spot for our honeymoon. It was quiet, private and extremely clean. I met the owners and they were super nice! They even left us a bottle of champagne and a dozens roses, which was very thoughtful.
Great place! Quiet, clean and plenty of space for a family of 4.
Very close to everything and just far enough away where you can get some quiet.
Kids weren’t thrilled with how spotty the internet was. But it definitely didn’t hurt them to NOT be on a screen.
Would definitely stay again.
Our stay was wonderful! Everything was clean and exactly how the listing was advertised. The first night the main bedroom’s AC wasn’t working and the host sent someone immediately over to assist! His response times were excellent and consistent. He was always kind. Two suggestions but not deal breakers. More hooks in the bathrooms for towels to hang to dry and an additional seating option in the living room (oversized chair in the corner by the door maybe?) but in general our stay was lovely, safe, clean, good location, and quiet. Thank you!
The pictures are 100% accurate so what you see is what you get. Perfect little house for our family of 5. The kids loved poking around the backyard and having smores at the fire pit during down time, and with trundles we could have had another person if needed. The owner was very fast to respond to any questions leading up to the trip. The place was nice and clean and overall a very positive experience. It's hard to find properties that will take you for less than a full week, and traveling with younger kids is tough to commit to a full week so I was thankful to find this one. We would recommend to others and use in the future if we return to Lake George. 5/5 stars!

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Underwhelming
The stay was underwhelming as the house was not prepared for use, especially outdoor portions. Property looked much more groomed and clean in pictures. The outdoor chairs, cushions, grill was definitely not in a state ready to use even with some light cleaning. Deep cleaning would have been needed which is not expected or something we've experienced in the past staying at vacation homes. There were stains on the couch and pillows and dusty. My family does have allergy to dust and they were definitely affected staying there and had a few episodes. We ended up putting one of our flat sheets on the couch to sit so it wouldn't bother/irritate them as much There were mosquitos and other dead flying insects laying in the house and beds. Host was super nice, when we had ant issue, they did respond fairly quickly. They do live a few yards away and cameras are everywhere on their property. Overall was bare minimum and was not very clean and could really use some updates. If you have a young child, fyi, stairs are climb friendly as it's wood with hard edges (not rounded) and not very clean.
Great location, quiet house location but only a short drive to everything. Communication with host was excellent. Clean comfortable house, great backyard set up. Perfect for our stay.
We had a great time. The house was exactly what we expected and Peter was a fantastic host. We definitely would rent again next time we are in Lake George.
Wonderful little mountain cottage. Perfect size for a family of four. Property was very clean and taken care of. The hosts were extremely responsive to messages and gave suggestions on things to do in town. Would definitely stay there again.
My friends and I just stayed here this past weekend on a girls trip to celebrate my 40th birthday. The house was so cute and perfect for us! We were impressed with the cleanliness and all the amenities left for us to use. The location is great with only a quick drive into Lake George and less than 15 minutes To Lake Luzerene. This was my first home rental experience and I was very impressed. Much nicer than squeezing into a hotel!
