Excellent stay at Silver Rock Fernie

Great place - comfortable - quiet - well appointed - centrally located - shuttle bus picks up at the front door. Amazing support from Central Reservations (thank you Diana). Only minutes drive to the Fernie ski resort. Would happily book here again.

Great stay!

Property was great and very clean. Our kids loved the pool and the condo is very conveniently located and just a short drive to the ski hill or town. It was very hot during our stay - the unit did have AC but a fan would be a good addition, especially in the loft area as it was still very hot in the unit.

Great place to stay

This is the second time we have stayed at this condo and we really like it. Plenty of room for the 5 of us and close to amenities so that we can walk into town if we wish. The unit is very well stocked they even supply clothes detergent etc which we normally take ourselves. We would recommend.

Good location near town and 5 minutes to mountain

Clean condo with everything we needed to cook a few meals and close to town for good restaurants. Parking garage a plus for easy loading unloading and not dealing with snow removal in the morning

Family/Friends Getaway

Property was great for our group of 8, 4 adults, 4 teens. The pictures were an accurate representation of the condo. It was clean and kitchen was well equipped with what we required to cook our meals. Communication with Diana was excellent, check in/check out was easy. Kids spent time each day in the pool. There were a few issues with the cleaning of the unit prior to our arrival. The staff had all our concerns dealt with within the first evening. The air conditioner is a bit noisy in the living room and one of the bedrooms.

Christmas getaway from Ontario to spend time with family in Fernie.

This location centrally located, close to grocery stores and a short, easy drive to Fernie Alpine Resort. The condo was spacious, comfortable and clean. Check in process was quick and painless. Property host Diana Corak was quick with responding to any inquiries we had. We prepared and ate all our meals here including Christmas dinner and found the kitchen to be well equipped. Will certainly considered this location again in the future.

Comfortable home away from home

The condo is comfortable and nicely furnished. Perfect for our needs. Would have liked more than one kitchen garbage bag but management didn't come through after contact so we got our own. Otherwise everything was great.

Comfortable well equipped condo.

Clean, comfortable property, especially liked the additonal bed/space upstairs. Well equipped. We enjoyed the balcony and the pool. Additonal info re AC would have been helpful as we did want to turn it off at times (noisy at night). The top bunk would not be great for a small child, v high and sharp corner just above. Overall, great stay and would recommend.

Enjoyed our stay. Just a few suggestions. Clock in kitchen, more hot pads to protect the counter and tables. Mirror and garbage can in loft. Tv would be super to have in the primary suite. All in all very well stocked unit. Will be back soon

The location was great. Could have been cleaner. Didn’t look like the floors were vacuumed or mopped before we arrived. Kitchen table wasn’t wiped. Was all sticky. We were a group of 9, but were only left 7 towels.

Nice unit bad couch

This is our second time staying in this unit. we like it, but the couch is not comfortable. It sinks terribly and my back starts hurting immediately. The hot tub was too foamy to use but the pool was nice.

All good except for no AC

The apartment is well equipped and comfy for a group of friends or a family. We would have been much happier had the air conditioning worked. The loft bedroom in particular was uncomfortably warm. We were there in July when the temperatures were hot. Also the bunk bed in the second bedroom is inches away from the ceiling. Not suitable for an adult to sleep in, IMO.

Fishing Trip

Overall the accommodations were very good. The unit was well equipped for what we were looking for (although there could have been some garbage bags for when it came time to clean up). The building is well located if you have a vehicle. If you don't have a vehicle it is a fair walk to downtown. Parking outside was an issue as the work trucks took up the majority of the spaces unless we got there in the afternoon. It was unfortunate that the hot tub facilities were not available during our stay as the weather was cold and rainy. But generally I would recommend this property to others and we will certainly entertain coming back.
