This was a perfect place to stay for a family trip to Hilton Head. We had four toddlers and four adults and the layout and location was perfect for us. Super close to the beach & a great pool (with complimentary heating!!!). Linda & Jay were excellent communicators, provided everything we needed, and made check in/out a breeze. Would love to come back again :) Only complaint is uncomfortable first floor bed!

The home is very comfortable for multiple adult couples with children. The home has a real beach vacation vibe. We also enjoyed the private pool. The screened in porch is wonderful throughout the day.

Awesome property!

This is our second year here and we absolutely love it. It has a great layout and the pool is perfect. And the beach is just a few steps away. Linda and Jay make sure your stay is perfect and take care of any needs that you have ASAP. We hope to stay here next year!

Amazing Home

Our family had a wonderful time at this beach house! It was so nicely decorated, the pool was great and the house was 2nd row from beach. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect home for our family. We have already booked it again for next year!

Great stay in Sea Pines

My family and I have stayed In Sea Pines a number of times over the years. I was disappointed I hadn’t found this house earlier. It is very close to the beach, has wide open areas for families to get together, the pool is very nice. My only complaint (or area of improvement) and it is minor, is the TVs are very small.

Everything as advertised and location is hard to beat

Everything about this was exactly as advertised and the location to get to a great beach is hard to beat. Literally only 3 minutes and you are on the beach and in a private type of area away from the big crowds. They even provided a cooler we could use. Highly recommend renting from them the beach cart, chairs, and umbrellas as part of this. The location in Sea Pines as well is very nice. I do wish for the price we would have been given at least 2 car passes to get into Sea Pines especially for a 4 bedroom house. I had to pay extra for one of them. I would recommend this to anyone.

Nice house

Nice house. Clean. Easy walk to beach and the beach club even for young kids. Construction on four of the houses surrounding this rental diminished our enjoyment of the property. Had we known about the construction, we would have rented elsewhere. The pool was great for our family, as it included a ledge that was large enough for our 2 year old to play and still had room for the rest of the kids to swim.

Grea value in Sea Pines

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beachwalk Cottage. The proximity to the ocean and beach path being right next to the house were big selling points for us. We loved the screened-in porch and wound up spending a lot of time in there. My husband also loved the fact that all of the TV’s were WiFi equipped, making streaming easy. The kitchen was adequately stocked and the water pressure in the master bath was excellent. We look forward to returning next year!

We have rented many times and last year we also liked our Sea Pines house which was first row versus this which is a second row. It was cheaper and actually had better bathrooms and just as close. Rebooked for next year, this house all we needed!

Awesome!

Great spot! All the bedrooms had adjoining bathrooms. Plenty of room for everyone. Very clean house. Great porch to sit on and hear the waves. One house from the beach. Two minute walk. This is the best bang for the buck you will find in Sea Pines. We have already planned to stay here next year.

Wonderful Week at Beachwalk Cottage

We all enjoyed our beach week at Beachwalk Cottage. The home is nicely laid out for a three generation family with one bedroom on first floor and three on main floor all with king sized beds in nice sized bedrooms. Jay and Linda are very responsive and some minor issues were immediately addressed. Location is great too (beach access, easy walk to Beach Club, and near Ocean gate for trips outside of Sea Pines). Loved that they provide some common spices for cooking along with aluminum foil and plenty of trash bags, dish washer soap...Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent week @ Beachwalk Cottage

The updates to Beachwalk Cottage are fantastic!! We have been coming back for many years, and Jay & Linda made sure everything was in place for us to have a great week. The updated decor and landscaping added to an already perfect home. The location to the beach was perfect for our 2 young grandchildren. We had beautiful weather and spent the majority of the week outside, swimming, bike riding, walks on the beach, or eating at many great restaurants. We plan to return next year!

Perfect Home for Family to Gather!

We gathered at Beachwalk Cottage from 4 different states to celebrate Thanksgiving together. The home was plenty big for the 7 of us and all of the living spaces (living room, screened porch, and downstairs room) made it even better. The two refrigerators and well equipped kitchen made meal prep and storage perfect! We were surprised by the huge pantry and large dining room (there is also a big table on the porch!). We loved the quick walk to the beautiful beach and the easy access to bike paths for bike rides everywhere - our whole family adores Beachwalk Cottage - we will be back!

We’ll be Back! Outstanding Stay

Our stay at Beachwalk Cottage was enjoyed by all & none of us were ready to leave at the end of the week. We arrived to a very clean house that was just as described in the photos and on the website. The layout of the house worked well for us, the beds were comfortable, we appreciated the extra frig downstairs and the screened porch was a favorite spot to relax and eat our meals. Since we were vacationing with our daughter, son-in-law and two year old grandson, we absolutely loved the design of the pool with the large step/shallow end and spent every afternoon cooling off in it. Unless we had chosen to rent an ocean front property, we couldn’t have asked for a better location and shorter walk to the beach. It was so close and we appreciated the fact that we didn’t even have to cross a street to get to the beach. The hosts were very responsive to any communication that we had prior to our arrival and also once we got to the cottage. All in all, it was a great vacation and we hope to come back again next year!

Our stay at Beachwalk Cottage was great for the most part. We have stayed at this property before and we're so excited to return. The management company was top notch. A storm hit and took out internet in several homes and they purchased some Verizon boxes to get us through until Spectrum could be here. While they were here overseeing the internet being repaired he noticed the grill was in bad shape and left and bought a replacement grill.

Heavenly On The Beach

First and second the location was amazing!!! 100 steps to the beach. So close that I was able to get up and watch the sun rises. Then the house was near perfect. Everyone was very comfortable in the kitchen, the bedrooms and the screened in porch where we had our dinners. Everything worked very well. The kitchen was well supplied with cookware, etc. I say it was near perfect because we had a couple of small issues. But wait! One text message and the response was immediate. Thank you Beachside for your great support and excellent communications. Everyone in our group of 5 wants back here. As a side note the bike rentals worked out perfect. They were waiting in the car port when we arrived. Now if you could only help my golf game.

Location great; needs some new mattresses

Location, pool, and new grill are all 5 star. You literally walk out the door and turn left to get to the beach. On breezy/chilly days at the beach you are protected by being second row and can still be warm at the pool. I would say the decor is dated but I would not put nice stuff in a rental! It was very clean. Didn’t see the hammock pictured but we didn’t have much of a need for it. The property manager Todd was attentive. I would say he should tell the owners they really need to think about getting a couple of new mattresses. One king has a huge indent in the middle of the mattress and the one in the bunk room you can feel the springs. My kids slept in those beds so it was not a big deal but if I had to sleep in either room I would have been sore or sleepless!! Bottom Line: Primo location! Appliances worked well. Lower level living space is nice to have. We used it in the mornings to do our peloton strength classes after walking on the beach. Plenty of parking although we only had 1 car. Screened in porch was huge and a nice place to play cards at night. A few beach chairs would’ve been nice but I’m sure those disappear over time. It had all we needed but not luxuriously equipped. I’d go back knowing the owners addressed the issues with the mattresses

Great location with quick access to beach. Roomy house with 4 bedrooms and nice screened in porch overlooking pool. Would highly recommend this property, not only for its desirable location and amenities,, but the owners were incredibly easy to work with and made renting flawless.

With some updates this place would be spectacular!

Great, quiet location. Literally 100 steps to the beach (I counted.) Pool is small, but our little ones loved it. House is older and dated, but comfortable, and could be amazing with some updates. Appliances are good and kitchen is well-stocked. (The only item we couldn’t find was a meat thermometer.) Having two living areas was great. Chairs in upstairs living room fall backward easily! Small decks were not usable for us because the balusters/spindles are too far apart and a small child could fall through. Screened porch is very nice. Plenty of parking for our three vehicles. Stephanie and Todd at Beachside HHI were GREAT, easy to work with and quick to reply. We would use them again and stay here again.
