Located in the heart of charming Glen Arbor, this four-bedroom, three-bathroom home is the perfect home base for an exciting and memorable family trip! Enjoy being within walking distance to downtown Glen Arbor, restaurants, shops, tennis courts, playground, Lake Michigan, and Glen Lake. The deck on the back of the home provides guests with a great spot for alfresco dining and hosting warm-weather barbecues. Gather around the firepit in the backyard and roast s'mores while telling spooky stories or simply sharing a great time with your loved ones under the starry night sky.

Inside, the living area features plenty of inviting sofas surrounding a wood stove - this is the perfect gathering spot, especially during the winter months. The spacious and well-appointed kitchen will be a cook's delight with all the great appliances available. There is a den with a TV with cable and a sleeper sofa just off the living room.

Besides the main living space, the main floor also features a bathroom/laundry room with a convenient washer/dryer. The first and second bedrooms are located upstairs, while the third bedroom is located in the attached garage apartment. The fourth bedroom is right above the garage with two comfortable beds.

Fall getaway

Great Location

We loved the location for our group. We had 7 adults staying and it allowed people to come and go as they wanted to go for a run, go shopping, go to the store, go to the beach, or go enjoy a beer or wine. But it was also just secluded enough to not have much traffic and was very quiet and peaceful.

Very nice home

We normally stay on the lakes so ut was our first time in glen arbor. It was very nice and comfortable for our entire party. Very easy to walk to everything in the area without dealing with people and parking. Took advantage of the firepit every night. We did see a mouse and few bugs occasionally but I guess that should be expected in that area. Highly recommend for larger party's of people. Very spacious. Andy

Wonderful location but poor customer service

This house is ideally situated in Glen Arbor on a quiet street within walking distance of everything. Comfortable home with plenty of room for 2 families. We had an issue with mice and tons of droppings all over the kitchen. The help we received from VACASA was underwhelming by the local team.

A little dated

We loved how close to downtown this home was, the 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were great. Loved having a fire every morning. It could you use some updates, a good yard clean up along with getting the cobwebs cleaned out, a good outdoor rug to knock down the dirt before you enter, didn't see a crock pot, A/C units were removed and it was 85 on our 1st night, nice and open and lots of space for 8.

The property location is fantastic. You are just a block away from main street Glen Arbor. It's nice that you are able to utilize the garage. We had bikes that we had brought.It is evident that the house is an original with an add-on, so the configuration is a bit wonky. Those that stay in the main house bedrooms must use the shower downstairs, as their is only a tub upstairs. Bedrooms, except for one over the garage, are small. The kitchen is very small, especially if multiple people are trying to cook there, but that is likely due to the age of the house. The furnishings are totally adequate, but there were some that needed replaced; a few dining chairs that had bad legs, or a couch with sinking cushions. Overall, the house is clean and the location is great. If location is your main goal, this is it.

Girlfriends Weekend but had to clean first

This is a good location, and restaurants, shopping and activities are a short walk away. The house met our needs with a cleanliness exception. No bathroom rugs were clean or had been changed out. We located cleaning supplies and clean rugs and changed these out ourselves. The toilet paper rolls in bathrooms were not changed out and just set on empty holders. The floor on the main floor was very sandy, like it had not been vacuumed. We opted to wear our sandals inside due to this. We would have laundered the rugs if we could have found the laundry soap. The back room which has a TV smelled like pet urine. But we did not use this room, except to walk to the garage. That said, we were able to use the coffee maker and brought our own supplies and food. And we had a good weekend, we went kayaking on the river, had some good dinners and wine at local tasting rooms.

Wedding weekend

The stay on this house is highly recommended. The location is great, walking distance to restaurants, recreation rental like kayak, bike etc. . The house lay-out is awesome. I just hope the house was cleaner especially the bathroom tile grouts, the top shelf at the stove was sticky. The grill we have not used because it was not cleaned. The front porch could have used a blower to take out leaves and dust and cobwebs.. Other than a more thorough cleaning, the house is awesome. We did enjoy . Hope to comeback on a vacation not just for a wedding.
