The house is centrally located near the airport, the KY Derby, and essential stores. It is an older home with nice charm and character. The owner was very responsive to our requests, and resolved them. Thanks
Great house for a long weekend with friends for a music festival. Lots of rooms, and just as importantly lots of bathrooms. Would definitely rent again.
Great place to stay! We were here to celebrate my husband’s birthday and taste bourbon. Great layout for lots of couples. Only thing that would have been better is more living room seating, but that’s a small thing. Had a great time!
The location to where I needed to be for the occasion was perfect. While the house was cute and quaint it has plenty of bathrooms and the bedrooms were nice, there was nothing spectacular or exciting about it. For me it wasn’t clean nor did it have adequate cooking equipment, utensils, seasonings or up to date dishes or decor therefore the price for the property is high considering there was no real update to the interior or amenities. Cute place for passing through no real biggy for hosting..parties or wanting to stay compared to the posting of what I thought it to be. It fit my need but definitely to high for what you’re getting.
A no-frills set up that worked okay with our group. We could have used more chairs - not enough for as many as can stay there.
Also, one room was billed as a bedroom, but no door and led between the living room and laundry. A door would have made it much better.
But over all, very pleased! Nice pool, too.
We were traveling for a baseball tournament and stayed with a couple other families at this property. It was EXACTLY what we needed. Location was near everything we wanted to do. Plenty of space for everyone inside the house, the 2 decks outside were so handy and the backyard/pool was just an added bonus. The property manager was great to work with and we had a great week in Louisville. Looking forward to coming back next year!
Place was clean and as advertised. Owners instructions for check in and check out were simple and clear. Communication between both parties was timely and informative when needed. Plenty of space to lounge/relax and enough rooms for privacy and sleeping arrangements. From the perspective of needing a host for an adults trip, book with confidence.
We were very pleased with our stay here. The house slept 12. Comfortably. The house was clean and well setup. It met our need for a place to stay well visiting Louisville. We were disappointed that the pool water was green while were there. The owner recognized the issue and worked on it. Fortunately we spent our days at Kentucky Kingdom, so we got out fill of swimming

Disappointing after prior reviews
Place was not as clean as advertised. There are a lot of repairs that need to be done in the home and the upstairs where all the bedrooms are located never fell below 77 degrees. I would not recommend.
Great house close to Exposition Center and Airport
We were in town for an event at the Exposition Center. This house was the perfect place. It is within close proximity to the Exposition Center, University of Louisville and the Airport. The house was clean and spacious for a large group to enjoy the weekend. The house was stocked with items one would need (towels, trash bags, bath wash etc..) When I reached out to the owner he answered on the first call and the information needed was sent while speaking to me on the phone. We had a wonderful experience from the initial booking to until we left.

Minimal but has opportunity
House is clearly being flipped but not quite ready for guests I am sure the home in this location can be great. The dining chairs need replacing as they appear stained and chair pads on top are tacky . There are random things in drawers and no dish towels or sponges to do dishes. The window shades are totally broken in bunk room and spots broken in others. At this price range you expect some minimal comforts. Good luck to the owners.

Beechmont area Louisville
The property was well cleaned upon arrival. The owner was easy to contact and replied to messages. The pool was clean and ready for use. (There was someone at the property maintaining the pool when we arrived.)
The house was sparsely furnished and echoed a lot with regular conversation. It has all the essentials, but no curtains on the windows, just inexpensive plastic blinds. Room darkening blinds or curtains can help keep rooms cooler. The AC did not keep up during the day. The upstairs rooms were hot the whole stay, especially at night.
It did have good WiFi. This house is ok for a large group, but I wouldn’t stay at it again unless some improvements were made.
We had a group of 6 adults going to the Kentucky Oaks and Derby. As opposed to staying in a hotel and having no where besides a bar or restaurant to congregate in between activities, we decided a house would be better, in addition to being more cost effective. Great call! The beds were comfortable, house was spotless, used the kitchen to prepare meals and it was nice to be able to unwind in comfy clothes and talk about our exciting days. The property owner was on the spot when one of the tv remotes batteries died, and even installed a fire pit during our stay. (It rained so we ended up not using it). Close to the track, grocery store, restaurants. A great stay
The house was very clean, spacious and had enough bathrooms for our party of 10 adults. So needless to say, all bedrooms were occupied. A problem arose when we didn't have enough dining chairs in the dining area for meals and especially playing games in the evenings. Even the living room lacked enough seating for us to relax upon.( a rule of the house was to not move furniture) We managed and had a fine time.
Our group of 10 adults and 2 children enjoyed our stay at this property while visiting Louisville for a few days. The pool was a great activity and we appreciated that it was just a short drive to the main city attractions.
There were plenty of towels and extra sheets and we appreciated having access to the washer & dryer on the property. The number of bathrooms was also great for us.
Our main complaint was that there was not sufficient space for the family to hang out & eat inside together. There were only 6 dining room chairs (the listing said a table for 8) and not enough seating in the living room for our group to hang out or watch a movie together. There was plenty of outdoor seating and beds, we just wish the property was more well suited for large groups on the main floor.
A few other ideas for the hosts for improvement would be to better stock the kitchen (ex: dishcloths & towels, more sets of silverware, cutting boards), to upgrade the bedroom blinds & add curtains (some blinds were broken), and to repair some of the outdoor amenities (tiki torches and small grill were broken).
One thing to be aware of if you're a light sleeper is that there are a lot of frogs that hang out on the property and sing at night, so maybe bring ear plugs.
