3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms in the main house perfect for 3 couples or 2 couples and 4 kids. The fourth room, never rented apart from the main house to secure privacy, is available for groups larger than 8 (which is the maximum capacity of the main house). The fourth room has 1 queen bed, 4 twin size beds and a full bathroom. Just to be sure: this room or apartment is never rented out independent of the main house.

Enjoy Flamenco Beach, considered the #2 top beach in the world by Travel Magazine. Take a water taxi and explore Culebrita, local boaters favorite...or go snorkling in Carlos Rosario beach or Tamarindo Bay. Go scuba diving and explore the sorroundings of Culebra deep blue ocean.

Beautiful home!

We enjoyed our stay at this well maintained home. The host checked on us, providing a beautiful home with fine linens and kitchen supplies. The view of the ocean and nearby islands was spectacular.

Holiday relaxation

The house was fantastic. Comfortable with a lot of outdoor spaces all with amazing views. Nice cooking area and outdoor and indoor dining options. The hosts were extremely helpful and communicative about their home and area activities. My family absolutely loved the house and Culebra! We would love to return some day.

Casa Guava has a special place in our heart

We were a group of 7 adults and 4 children (1yr to 8yrs) and we had the best time; the house was spacious and felt safe. It had everything we needed, the owner was extremely communicative and helpful, the bedrooms were comfortable and clean, the terrace was absolutely breathtaking. We cooked breakfast in the kitchen, we grilled at night, we spent the day at Soni Beach that is less than a 10min drive. We couldn't have asked for a better time in Culebra.

Culebra casual getaway

Traveling as two “seasoned” adult couples to the island of Culebra for a few days. Our property owner Joey was fabulous from the first click on booking. Joey recommended island favorites for activities, who to contact, where to shop, eat, relax! Although we found it hard to leave the gorgeous view from the pool at sunset. Kitchen is well stocked for in home cooking and enjoying a variety of new veggies and fruits from the island.Highly recommend making Zoni (beach close to house) a priority. We saved it for last and had rain that day.

Fantastic property

Casa Guava is an absolute gem. The pictures don’t capture how special this property is - it is private with breathtaking views and all the amenities we wanted. The house is set up with relaxing, functional and nice outdoor spaces and the interior is clean and well decorated. Joey was incredibly helpful and responsive and really made it feel like an invite to his home. This is a great find!!

Casa guava

House and property are fully equipped with everything you’ll need on your vacation. The owner is more than helpful with any questions or concerns you might have. Property also has a private dock not far from house, making it easy to catch private charters, instead of having to go into town. Only issue is mostly everything is closed on the Island from Sunday through Wednesday. Literally the whole town was shut down those 3 days making it almost impossible to find groceries or food.

A+ location

I can't say enough good things about this house/property or Joey, the host. The house is beautifully decorated with a ton of charm - you can tell that a lot of thought went into it. We were a family of 4 and the indoor space was perfect. But the outside is really why you should rent this place - you just cannot beat the view from the deck. The BBQ area is great. And the pool was a great option to cool off in as well. Culebra in general is just gorgeous and should not be missed. And there is no one better to help you figure out how to navigate the island than Joey - he was the most helpful and communicative host I have ever experienced (in 25+ years of renting houses). Highly recommend!

Perfect escape

Casa Guava is a beautiful, comfortable and spacious house. Our group was myself and husband with our 4 boys 15-26yo and a son's GF. We loved the views and all the different places to spread out and relax: pool, poolside, napping hammock, rockers for sunset, outdoor LR for sunset, outdoor dining room for dinner and the list goes on. Joey Sala (the owner) helped with all the advance planning and made sure we had everything we needed once we arrived. We enjoyed snorkeling almost everyday. Best day of the trip is a toss up between our boat trip and snorkeling at Culebrita and body surfing at Flamenco beach. The food in the Kiosks at Flamenco was fantastic. Our only challenge of the trip was that most of the restaurants were closed because of Christmas and New Years holidays. Once we acknowledged that, we enjoyed cooking and grilling at Casa Guava. We hope to be back. Thank you Joey.

The Hidden Gem of Culebra: Casa Guava

Let me just start by saying, if you are planning on going to Culebra, stop searching and book this beautiful home. I took a trip to Culebra with my family and while we loved every second we spent on the island of Culebra, Casa Guava amplified our experience. Initially, I was somewhat concerned the location of the property was a bit too far from popular destinations such as Flamenco Beach, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. but after speaking with Joey, which by the way, is an incredible person and an amazing host, he assured me that nothing in Culebra is far, and he was absolutely right. The property was clean, beautifully decorated, the view is to die for, and it was fully equipped with everything we needed and some. We experienced a few days of sketchy weather while in Culebra and Joey was quick to send me a text with a long list of things to do and places to go if the weather didn’t cooperate. He even shared beach locations that only locals go to, providing us with even more options to enjoy our time there. The location of Casa Guava is secluded, quiet, extremely safe, and close to everything. Joey made sure we felt at home and that was worth every penny we spent to stay at Casa Guava. The next time we go to Culebra, we know exactly where we are staying, so don’t look any further and stay at Joey’s beautiful home, you will not regret it!

Wonderful Home

Great location and experience. Jose is knowledgeable about the island and is easily reachable to help you out with any and all questions you may have. House is overall in a beautiful secluded location. The listing photos do not do it justice.

Perfect beach house

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. I think it is better than the pictures. We didn’t cook but it seemed to have pretty much everything. We really enjoyed sitting outside and watching the sunset after a long day at the beach. Communication with the owner was very easy and pleasant. Jose was super nice and helpful. Side note: You do need a car to get around. The house sits on a hill and you have to drive down to get to the beach. Bring bug spray…there’s a lot of them. We ate at two restaurants that were amazing. El navegante and Dinghy Dock. Most of the restaurants have weird hours and most of them closed still. Even though they show opened on google. You just have to drive to them and check. Super markets are small and are very strict about covid. Only one person from the family can go in and you need a mask.

Paradise on earth

The place was absolutely wonderful. The pictures don’t make justice to the breathtaking view and tranquility of this place. House is completely equip to cook, good size kitchen (no dishwasher - but this is Culebra water is scarce!) The master bedroom is espectacular. We were 9 people and had extra beds we didn’t use. The place is perfect for 3 couples (3 large beds) and family/friends. There are 4 rooms: 1 large master with a king, 1 bunk beds for 4 people, 1 queen. Downstairs it has a studio with 4 beds (2 bunk beds) and 1 queen. Overall, I would stay again in this place. We had an amazing time and the owner was very attentive.

Great house for a group, beautiful views and lots of space. You will definitely need to drive to this house. Only downside was No hot water in the bottom floor apartment

Casa Guava is simply amazing!

Mr. Sala is an excellent host. His house is amazing. We went with a group of 7 and he plenty of space. He told us exactly what to do while on Culebra. We are planning on heading back and will be renting again. Lastly, the views are simply breathtaking!

Great property! The view is incredible, the house is big and comfortable. Great for a family.

We loved our stay at casa guava! The view is amazing and the whole property was very nice. Having a pool is always great! Private and easy to get to even though the road is a little steep in spots. AC in every room for hot days but you hardly need it with the amount of breeze up high on the hill. Perfect for staying cool and keeping bugs away. Kitchen was well equipped, and all the appliances worked well which is always a plus. Love the outside BBQ area too! The owner was accommodating and easy to communicate with and the property care takers were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this location.

Even for a full time resident of Puerto Rico, Culebra is a special place. Yes, its about the ocean, views, beaches etc.. But the best is not what it has but what it does NOT have: no stress, no hurry, no noise...
