This beautiful home offers deep water dock which is great for swimming and fishing. It is within walking distance from the Virginia Dare Marina where you can eat lake side at the Portside Bar and grill or go out for a sightseeing dinner cruise. Only 10 minutes to major a grocery store and State Park. Mile marker R21 allows you to get to the Dam or the bridge within minutes. There are several restaurants that are within a ten minute drive by car or boat. Very quiet neighborhood great for walking.

Nice house and great location in a 'no wake' zone. Spent most of the time in the water or fishing off the docks. Very relaxing!! And beautiful sunsets!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

My family had an amazing stay here over Memorial Day weekend. This home has the most amazing view of the lake. My family spent most of our time fishing and swimming from the dock. The home was spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and the host's communication was fantastic. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

July lake vacation

Great location on a really nice cove. The dock is perfect for hanging out and swimming. The covered area is especially nice to get a break from the sun and play cards. The house has everything needed for a relaxing lake vacation.

Delightful Home

The home was exactly as pictured and with a few added perks. Great location, large/comfortable rooms, all amenities needed for a weekly stay. The 2-level dock was great! Appreciate the pet friendly accommodations also. Will certainly stay again!

We had a blast! The house was clean, provided great views of the lake, and was very comfortable for the 5 of us. We all enjoyed the dock, swimming, and laying out in the sun!

Family vacation

Awesome property! A little older but very homey! Neighborhood very quiet. Great location on the lake and nice dock and sun deck! Our family enjoyed this location VERY much! We love SML and would definitely book this house again! Vicki was very helpful and responded quickly.

Awesome Locat

This was a very cozy house with beautiful landscaping, view and boat dock. Only downside was you had to bring your own linens and towels and do some light cleaning of the counters/refrigerator before leaving, but it is totally worth it. We were able to kayak to the state park.from the house. Nice coves for paddle boarding.

Pros: Beautiful lake views; well-kept landscape; fantastic dock; clean home (with exception of fridge) Cons: no WiFi; kitchen is very small; limited space for preparing food; no pantry for storing food. Would recommend this home!

Quiet Week Lakeside

Comfortable living accommodations; Kitchen well equipped; Attractively landscaped; Very comfortable bed in Master. Would recommend an electrician go through and replace a few of the electrical outlets as several were quite "loose" (would not hold a plug securely). Was concerned about the new home going up next door, but that really turned out to be not that big of a deal.

Perfect Lake Experience

This home exceeded my expectations! We have been renting at SML for over 15yrs & stayed in many homes & condos - this one is among the best. We all noted that we slept better than any other place, the beds were comfortable & the AC worked great. The views from the Florida room were awesome, kitchen setup was great, the dock was amazing, landscaping beautiful, and the location on the lake perfect. The steps down to dock are a little steep but manageable with the tiered steps. We had very good weather & made awesome memories. Thanks again for sharing your home with our family!

Cleanliness when we arrived was not great. Advertisement said usable fire pit that was not the case. Access to one of the patios was not available. Would have a been a great place to have dinner on the deck. Grounds crew came unannounced and damaged our yard golf game.

Beautiful property, wonderful location

This was our second stay at this house. Perfect for our family and our dogs. Great location. Great dock. Love the gentle slope (not a lot of steps). Kitchen is well equipped. Main floor layout changed since we were last there…for the better. Nice big TV and reclining leather couches. Property manager is great to work with and super responsive. Spiral staircase to the basement can be a challenge to traverse (especially with a load of laundry)…dogs didn’t really like it either. But, it is a space saver so I get why it is there.
