About this property

Gentle Slope, Firepit, Safe No Wake Cove, Game Room, Large Dock. Fun for all!!!

In a NO WAKE COVE with a GENTLY SLOPED LOT! Fast WIFI INCLUDED! We recently purchased this home and have painted and updated the furnishings. It is clean and comfortable with plenty of space for everyone! It is in a perfect mid-lake location, near the State Park at marker R-21.

Inside you will find fresh new linens and decor, comfortable furniture and brand new kitchen appliances. There is plenty to do to keep everyone busy on a rainy day or after sunset. There are 4 new flat screen TV's with Xfinity service, unlimited data wifi, a pool table, air hockey table, and foosball table, and an arcade style game machine.

Outside, it only gets better! This is what you come to the lake for! Huge new deck with plenty of seating and a large grilling area. The deck has expansive views of the cove and beautiful sunsets. There is a gentle slope to the dock that even the grandparents can do, with a pathway the whole way. There is a covered seating area at the dock, a floater with plenty of room to tie off a boat, and DEEP water. The dock is nestled just inside a no wake area, making it great for swimming and kayaking. There is an outdoor firepit with comfy new adirondack chairs. Also, new for 2021, we have removed the wooden pathway to the lake and replaced it with a concrete pathway!

Occupancy limit is set to 6 due to limitations of Bedford County rental permit.

The host was welcoming and very responsive. They answered all our questions and were very helpful to let us know what we would need to bring. We stayed here to host our family for Christmas as we are currently building in the area and don’t have a lot of space for everyone at our temporary housing. The house was spacious, clean, and well kept. The kitchen had everything you could need. I would recommend this house to anyone visiting the Moneta area. The sunsets were gorgeous and the view was amazing and relaxing.

The host, Theresa, was phenomenal from the very start, great in communication and working through the details. The house was ready on check-in day a few hours before the official check-in time and they allowed early entry, which made it nice and the timing worked out great. The house was great, the kids loved the lower level basement/game room! The fire pit was great and we used that often with the colder temperatures. The kitchen was good and had all of the cookware needed to make some good meals. The house is on a very quiet cove so you really felt like you were away from the main parts of the lake and it was very quiet and relaxing. Overall it was a very nice stay and I would recommend this property for your next stay on Smith Mountain Lake!

The house is beautiful and it's huge and very clean inside and outside. All of the rooms has everything that you would need. Beautiful lake views and sunrise and sunset views. Amazing dock for a great fishing trip. Owners are extremely nice and answer back immediately. Would love to stay here again on future vacation rental trips. Thank yall for letting us stay and enjoying the peaceful, happy, joyful experience:)

This property is just as described. Very clean with comfortable beds and furniture. The view is beautiful from the spacious deck. Very easy access to the boat dock. Swimming was fun! If you have a very large family you really need to stay here. Yes I would stay here again. Host is available and helpful.

Very much enjoyed our stay here. House was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space. Really enjoyed the beautiful cove and easy lake access. The private dock is very large and in great condition. We had no problem mooring our 20' boat during the duration of our stay. Docking was easy and the water is nice and deep. Great communication with the host. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Girl's Weekend

We have stayed at the Lake house for several years and always enjoy the peaceful view from the upstairs and downstairs decks and the dock. We also love the kayaks and the fire pit—great memories with good friends. The owners are always gracious and kind. This place is a wonderful getaway for friends and family.

Spacious home, great dock, great location

Really nice home on a great location on the lake. Quiet, deep swimming area but easily accessible to the main lake. Dock area was very spacious with lots of furniture. Beds and linens were all very comfy. It was great having the entire pantry available to store our supplies and two full refrigerators to keep our food and drinks cold. Also, there were LOTS of dishes, glassware and silverware, so we didn't have to run the dishwasher after every meal.

Perfect Family Getaway

We returned to this house for a second time- plenty of space for adults and teenagers to enjoy themselves together or separate. Downstairs game room and bunk room is perfect for the teens. View from the dock is breathtaking- we spent several hours there reading and enjoying the water. We will be back for sure!

My husband and I stayed for a few days in the off-season, we just needed some peace to decompress, and that's exactly what we got! Our host was extremely responsive, answered all our questions within a few minutes, and also sent over a TON of information to make the most of our stay (restaurant lists, things to do, maps of the area, a list of household items, etc.) Super easy check in, the house has absolutely everything you need! We loved the big dock, kayaks, firepit, eating breakfast out on the deck with a beautiful view of the lake...I grew up going to SML and this location was premium - deep water right off the dock, a quiet cove but easy to paddle out on the kayaks if you want to! I messaged our host about returning next year with our kiddos before we even checked out. If you're looking for a perfect rental, stop your scroll and book this one! Clean, cozy, and gorgeous!
