Perfect 5 Bedroom Vacation Tropical Paradise at Shacks Beach

Villa Sol a Sol offers best value 5 bedroom accommodation at Shacks Beach. Enjoy awesome views of the ocean, covered terraces, BBQ grilling, flat screen TV, WIFI and beautifully landscaped grounds. This villa has 2 floors with 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor and 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. Each floor is fully self contained with its own fully equiped kitchen, living room, bathroom and outside covered porch. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy the property. All bedrooms except one on the 2nd floor with a king size bed are air conditioned and have new Serta queen sized beds.
We have installed a whole house power generator for your comfort 24/7. Additionally, we have installed a rain water catchment system as backup for city utilities. We have installed reverse osmosis water filter systems on each floor to provide you with ultra pure water and to discourage single use plastic bottles. Please bring your Yeti cups to take advantage of the cleanest water possible with no single use plastic.
There are three separate outside showers and a nicely sodded backyard. We have installed a SUP rack and surfboard racks for storage of your gear. The property is gated and surrounded by a concrete wall with planters around the entire perimeter. The garden is illuminated at night by professional landscape lighting. The villa has large louvered glass and screened windows throughout to enjoy the Caribbean breeze as well as ceiling fans in all rooms. There are covered outside african mahogany countertop bars for evening cocktails, dining or just hanging out. Flooring is tiled throughout and there is an outside tiled walkway around the house. Each unit has new large side by side refrigerators with filtered water and ice. The kitchens are fully equipped for preparing meals and there are many good restaurants a short distance away for your dining pleasure. Our 5 bedroom rental includes 2 separate fully contained units. Rent both units for $410/night plus 7% PR tax on total rent. If you have not been to this area of Puerto Rico before the owner is on site each day and can direct you to the best locations for anything you may need.

Maximum occupancy is two adults per bedroom. Non smoking and no pets please. No large or loud parties permitted. We have installed a whole house power generator to assure your comfort and your vacation won't be spent in the dark. We can assure you that you will not find a nicer or more well kept property in Shacks Beach for your vacation than Villa Sol a Sol. We have all the bases covered.

Beautiful home in an amazing location

This beautiful home was within walking distance of an uncrowded beach with excellent snorkeling opportunities. The house was immaculate and spacious. Dale was on-site every day to answer questions and give recommendations for food and activities.

Perfect Beach Stay

We had an amazing stay at Villa Sol a Sol! The house was clean, spacious, and perfectly located just a short walk from Shacks Beach. We especially loved the outdoor showers, the multiple chill areas (inside and out), and the fully stocked kitchens. The generator and water system gave us peace of mind throughout. Dale was super helpful and responsive, he checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Would absolutely stay here again!

One word to describe this gorgeous property is "Paradise". It is absolutely beautiful, Vrbo pictures don't do justice!Dale is a 5 host! The house has everything you need and more. We had a family group of 10 and the accommodations were excellent! Very, very comfortable and more than enough space for everyone.The beach is just steps away! You can't beat the location and the views from the upstairs balcony are simply amazing!!!Dale, thank you so much for making our weekend get away an unforgettable trip! We are definitely coming back soon!

Amazing House & Location

This house was perfect for our spring break. With 5 bedrooms (first and second floors) our group of 8 had plenty of room. The location was wonderful. Steps away from a great beach. We enjoyed listening to the surf and Dale is a wonderful host.

Dream vacation

Our family has a dream come true vacation at this rental. 7 adults and 2 kids slept comfortably, and enjoyed the beautiful view. The house is just steps away from the beach where we swam and snorkeled every day. Also right next door is the restaurant Eclipse with delicious seafood and yummy pizzas and drinks. We highly recommend this for your next vacation!

This is a beautiful place with great access to the beach. No complaints about the property. Stayed with a group of 10 adults so we filled up all 5 bedrooms. This number of people puts a strain on the 2 bathrooms, ideally this place could probably use another 1/2 bath but that's a bit nitpicky. Loved the place and would love to go back.

Loved the location and the home, steps away from the beach and Dale was helpful in pointing out an area to swim in the ocean. A neighbor’s barking dog was the only issue.

Great spot!

We loved our stay at Dale’s property. He was an excellent host. The location is unbeatable- didn’t have to wear shoes! Beach was right there! Apartments were excellently equiped- they even have a water filter which saved us and the planet from buying bottled water. We will be coming back next year!

Excellent In All Aspects

We have stayed at Shack's Beach a number of times over the past 10 years and this is one of the best properties we have stayed at. Amazing views and just steps to the beach with the best snorkeling around and a good spot for kiteboarding and other water sports. Dale was great to work with and the house was top notch. Good size bedrooms and kitchen area and plenty of outdoor living spaces with a grill. The outdoor showers are perfect for the kids. Easy walk to the neighborhood cafe/bar and just minutes from Jobo's Beach which is great for little kids as well as another surf break. We would definitely stay here again!

Family getaway

We booked our trip to see my wife’s side of the family (first time in about 5 years) so we wanted to make this trip extra special and take them to the beach with us as well. Everything about the house was perfection; it was in pristine condition, extremely well-kept, everything easily accessible and closer than we even thought to the beach! The pictures don’t do this property justice, Dale was an excellent host and we hope to be returning when we come back to visit. Thank you again Dale!

20th Anniversary Celebration

This property was absolutely perfect for our needs. We rented both floors and it was nice to be able to each have our own space. We all loved the beach and snorkeling. The kids loved the hammock. The seashells on the beach are amazing. We were able to see a lot of sea urchins and starfish. The hose at the end of the driveway for rinsing off is a sand lifesaver! Dale, the property owner, was easy to contact and quickly answered our questions. We would definitely stay at this property again!

Nice Weekend at Isabela

The property is in an excellent location. Steps from the ocean. The house was confortable for our group of 9 (we rented the 2 units). The only thing that for me was a bit uncomfortable, is that there are no table lamps in any bedroom. If your wish to read a book lying on your bed during the night, you have to turn on the fan/ceiling light. Dale was a nice host and the communication was great.

Beautiful!

Dale’s house really does stand out as one of the most beautiful property’s in the neighborhood. The landscaping makes you feel like you’re in a tropical paradise. Everything was top notch. We have 0 complaints. If we ever return to PR, we would definitely stay here again. Make sure and visit Ola Lola’s and The Eclipse, both of which are just down the street. Only two things to note-bring or buy beach towels. They are not provided. Also, the ground floor unit- it is two bedrooms. BUT, one of the bedrooms has a separate exterior entrance. Fine for adults but wouldn’t work well for young children.

Beautiful area

The property was great. We used both floors, two bedrooms on the bottom and three bedrooms on the second floor. Kitchen and bathroom on both floors with a sitting area. A couple of outside showers and a faucet to wash sand before entering the house. One of the bedrooms on the bottom floor does not access the kitchen/bathroom area from the inside, but no big issue. Dale is great and very unobtrusive, check in and out was a breeze Dale walked us through the property in the beginning and showed us the two car parking area. A third vehicle can be parked about 50 yards down the road. Beach access is just about 60-70 yards away. There is coral just off the beach from the house, but not too far away is open water. Would recommend and would stay again.

The location for us was picture perfect. Just a walk out of the gate and down some stairs to the beautiful beach. The house is beautiful and clean inside and out. Dale the host was very friendly and accommodating.

I have been traveling to Puerto Rico and renting in the Shacks Beach area for over 30 years. In 2011 I had the opportunity to purchase this property that I had walked by, admired and dreamed of owning for years. I spent the summer of 2011 at the house working, designing and supervising the renovation. My goal was to create a location that both my family and guests would enjoy and would want to keep coming back to. Through my years of renting in the area I compiled a list of amenities I would want included in a rental property which I have incorporated in Villa Sol a Sol for your comfort and vacationing pleasure. Every summer since I acquired the property I have initiated new projects to enhance the property to provide the best accommodation possible for our guests.

This property is ideally located and provides all of the amenities that I would want in a home or a vacation rental. It is colorful, clean and very comfortable. It has all of the amenities required to ensure your vacation will be a positive and memorable experience. If you're into surfing, SUPing, windsurfing, kite surfing, snorkeling or just hanging by the beach you will not find a better value proposition than Villa Sol a Sol. We strive to be the best rental at the beach.

What makes this property unique

From the moment you pull up to Villa Sol a Sol you will be pleasantly pleased with the whole property. You have gated parking, beautifully landscaped grounds, ocean views, covered porches with hammocks and outside covered bar tops to escape from the sun and enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails. The floors are all tiled, bedrooms and indoor living are air conditioned, of course we have Wi-Fi, new Serta queen sized beds, nice comfortable living area with cable TV, and remodeled kitchen and bath. We have multiple outsides showers to rinse off the salt and sand from the beach and a clothes line to dry swimsuits and towels after a fun day at the beach.
