Modern, luxurious, completely restored vacation haven with all new furnishings. Though the property is brand new to Vrbo it proudly boasts over 100 five star reviews on other travel sites .

Property features amazing art , cool and comfy furniture, and luxury bedding. Walking distance to Mesa Lane Beach and steps away from the entrance to the Douglas Family Preserve with 3 miles of easy ocean side hiking trails perfect for your kids and pets.

At the end of a peaceful cul de sac, a quiet haven free of cars; Beautifully landscaped! Catch some rays on the 4 chaise lounges. show off your throwing skills with our corn hole game. Enjoy dining al fresco under string lights on the patio. Grill some burgers on the Kitchen Aid outdoor grill. Cozy up with family and friends by the fire pit. Your dogs can run free in the fenced yard, or walk them off leash in the nature preserve a block away. All this, yet so close to the city; State Street, pier, funk zone , shopping, wine tasting are all less than two miles away, an 8 minute drive. Our location on the Mesa has its own downtown walking distance (1/2 mile away) with organic markets, fine and casual dining, drug stores, salons, electric bike rental and ice cream and frozen yogurt parlors.

Our neighborhood is secluded and incredibly safe. Security is provided on the exterior of the property using Ring motion activated video cameras at the following locations: Front door, front yard, rear yard, side yard. Ring cameras are readily visible, used for security purposes only, and do not cover areas with chaise lounges nor interiors.

Perfect spot for a friends getaway

This was a great spot for five friends to have time to relax and hang out in between visiting the sites in Santa Barbara. The house was clean, well appointed and had everything we needed for our two night stay.

SB WEDDING PARTY

We arrived in SB for a wedding. our family stayed in hotels and B&B but this was wayy more accommodating. the house was perfect and location as well. I definitely recommend coming out to SB and staying at Linda Rd.

Perfect family getaway house

We stayed here for our son’s wedding in Santa Barbara. It’s a great house, comfortable for us and convenient to everywhere we needed to be. The back yard was peaceful and we loved hanging out there too. Ray was such a nice host and we would definitely stay there again!

Fantastic property and location

Raymond's place was amazing! Plenty of room to spread out with a group, comfy beds, great kitchen and communal space. We loved the outdoor areas and fireplaces. Well worth the price, plenty of good food nearby, cute walkable neighborhood, and they don't ask for much cleaning upon checkout. Ten out of ten! Only wish we could have stayed longer.

The house was beautiful and welcoming instantly. Extremely clean and loved property that made us feel right at home. The amenities were perfect for a home cooked meal with our college daughter for her bday. Would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxed getaway.

Fantastic girls weekend headquarters

Our group of 6 friends thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Raymond's gorgeous home. The location is great, so quiet and pretty - but just a short drive to everything going on in town. We took great walks through the nearby preserve to the beach, and down the cool Mesa Lane steps (check it out!). The home feels very modern but still comfortable, with plenty of room to just hang out (indoors and out). We would return in a heartbeat!

We were in town for a wedding. The location was perfect. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the Douglas Preserve, but it is so close! The house was very clean and really cute. Loved the backyard! The host was extremely helpful and check-in couldn’t be any easier. This rental was perfect for us.

We stayed at this great home just for 2 days but we had a wonderful stay. The house is great! Nice outdoor living space and plenty of room indoors. We had 6 adults and 2 young children and the space worked perfectly for us. The bonus was having the baby equipment! You can’t go wrong with this rental!!

I graduated from UCSB as an art major, and spent the next several decades as founder and owner of Santa Barbara Ceramic Design, a noted producer of ceramics, glassware , decor and gifts. After retiring in 2016, I found a new passion in short term vacation rentals.
I now channel my creativity into, and am passionate about providing the ideal place for families and friends to stay when on vacation!

What makes this property unique

As owner of Santa Barbara Design Studio I devoted my life to making beautiful gifts and home decor. My sense of style informs this house, which was lovingly remodeled and decorated in 2022. I carefully curated , printed and framed all the art in the house.
The landscape was designed by notable local landscape architect Billy Goodnick and is well maintained. I am a 30 time superhost and have put my ten years experience in to making sure my guests have everything they need for an enjoyable, carefree vacation. All surfaces, bedding, appliances and furnishings are new, selected with intention and top quality!
