About this property

5 minutes to the Englewood Beach!

Adorable 2 bedroom cottage only 5 minutes to the Englewood Beach on Manasota Key and only 3 minutes to the quaint little tourist town of Englewood on Dearborn street with lots of shops and restaurants.

If you are looking for a place to stay for a month or more, look no more! Close to all the major stores and movie theater as well. Tons of local restaurants to enjoy and entertainment at nearly all beach restaurants and bars.

All furnishings provided. Roku TVs (Large living room TV and a medium size TV in the master bedroom.)

We are pet friendly with reasonable restrictions. We have a fence front courtyard which is not shown in the photos. Added after photo. Plenty of room for your babies. 👶

We also have a great program for people looking for homes to rent or buy or building a home!

This is a newer rental as we just purchased it in 2022 and renovated many parts of it. We have many great reviews from our past guests at our previous property.

Such a relaxing and wonderful stay

We stayed for the month of Feb. Weather was good, so we got a lot of use out of the patio. It's close to Manasota Key, and also Dearborne St. We had a great month.

Relaxing, comfy home.

Our stay in Englewood was wonderful. The house was very clean, comfortable, well provisioned and adorable. Especially enjoyed the outside patio area with comfortable seating, shade and a new grill. Jana responded immediately to my questions such as where to go eat and sent someone to prime the new grill within an hour. We would definitely stay there again.

Great house and hostess!!

This house was perfect for my husband and I during our ten day stay in Englewood! There was plenty of room to hang and put away our clothes (let’s face it, ladies…we overpack! ), the king size bed was so comfortable and the living area was very spacious! And, for enjoying the outdoor weather, the fenced-in seating area was perfect!!Jana was a fabulous, friendly hostess and was instantly available to answer any questions we had.If you’re visiting the Englewood area and looking for a house to rent that is roomy and centrally located with a kind, accessible hostess, this is your place!

Olde Englewood Cottage

Loved the Olde Englewood feel to this cottage. We loved sitting outside in the morning drinking coffee on the private patio surrounded by properties beautiful gardens. The king bed & pillows were very comfortable so we had a good night’s sleep every night. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. It is close to downtown Englewood, Lemon Bay & Englewood Beach. The host was great & offered suggestions for places to eat & shop. If we need a place to stay in Englewood again we would not hesitate to try & stay here again.

We sold our villas in Charlotte Harbor to retire but we weren't ready so we bought this property which has two houses. The main house is about 1150 SF with 2 bedrooms and an inside laundry room and a large patio off the back. The cottage is 800 SF with 2 bedrooms (one has no closet, only a dresser for clothes) and a small bathroom. It has an outside area off the front and a side dog run. Both homes share the backyard. Small pets are preferred and need to stay on a leash outside.

What makes this property unique

We are so close to the beach (blue water/white sand beach) with all the wonderful shops and downtown area close by. You can ride your bike everywhere. Very quaint older area with many homes dressed up for tourism. The area has been nearly totally repaired since the hurricane that hit a couple months ago. No problems with this property.
